Hehe I stay FAR AWAY from baby shops Very proud, I am a huge shopaholic but I have not bought anything out of my budget. Have also been given so much stuff its incredible.
Jealous re your weight gain! All it means is you'll have lost some weight once baby's weight comes off. I've picked up 12 according to gynae, and 14 according to my scale. I dont want to go over 15 so we'll see what happens. Will have to cut out on sugar from now on (ok maybe from tomorrow)

Jeanine wow cant imagine such a long wait. BTW what is your birth plan? Are you going to an active labour ward or private hospital or home? Do you still go to midwife for monthly checkups?

I'm back from the tests....vampires got nothing on these lab people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I left the hospital I sommer felt naar and faint....so I popped into Woolies for something to eat. Not being able to resist the baby section.....I saw the cutest Springbok jerseys!!!! Couldn't resist....bought a Newborn one and quickly went to give it to hubby as a prezzi for his little girl. Shame, he was so stoked.

There's something wrong with my gyanes' and my own scale! I have been weighing the exact same from 3 months! But my boep is definately getting bigger.

Blessed, strongs girl. This rollercoaster can't be lekker. And don't feel bad, although we all only want the best for our bubs, we all at some point wish they could come already! Those who don't is lying.

Girly, I am jealous! 2 weeks of work for you. Hell, is my time ever gonna be here?

While walking through the hospital this morning I thought that by this time in 6 weeks time, I'll be in my hospital bed holding my poplap! If all goes according to plan.

I think I'm going to avoid my scale from now on. I keep feeling bad, seeing how much I've gained... but since I cant see it ANYWHERE except my tummy, I'm just telling myself its baba, and he can have as much as he needs

I think you must go see the other gynae, and get him to phone yours, and then hear why it is she is not concerned. Seems really odd.
But praise God for your GP hey!

I dont know medically combined with your other factors - but your BP on its own is not really high. Only 140/90 or higher is high. Mine was 135/85 and doc is happy with it. But as I say, as an isolated symptom, maybe it's diff with your other symptom.

Please speak with Toinette about the liver count - I think she has experience in this from her last pg.

I can imagine you feel anxious. I think if you could get to 37 weeks it would be great. But God has given you a bigger baby for a reason, and your life & baby's is in His hands. Just make sure you do whatever will be best for your health in the end.

Jeanine I missed ur pic this morning. How lovely!!!

I cant chat now cos still got lots of work to do and its 5pm.

I had my scan today.
Doc is happy and Kaylee is 2.2kgs. A little small but no concern. She has lots of fluid around. I am good too, and I love his scale! A whole 4kgs nicer than mine, it always used to be 2? And she has DH family genes in the cheeks - they have really chubby cheeks, and looks like DH sister in her baby / toddler pics Gonna be so interesting to see what she looks like! Kaylee is still breach and has been since 20 weeks. Sounds like he'll give us till 37w to make a decision. But if we have to have one, I told him I dont want it before 39 weeks. He says we'll take it as it comes, as only thing they wouldnt want is to go into labour with a breech baby.
So if its a c/sec then only 5.5 weeks to go and only 2 weeks home before! I'm suddenly feeling very tired!

Will catch up properly tomorrow / the weekend.

PS M2M & Others - still sounds like Blessed to be mom is struggling with pre eclempsia. So I'm not sure what they'll be doing but I imagine they'll only keep him in as long as its not dangerous for mom. She is 35 weeks tomorrow, but baby has been 2 weeks bigger in recent scans.

So my GP sent me for bloods again today to check that all is still ok.. jip, my GP and not my Gynea?! Any way, defnitately thinking of moving after the birth..

There is again protiene in my urine and something else, can not remember what. My BP is a bit high according to him - 130/86 and my pulse is 102 :Shocked So infection again!!!

He then phoned another gynea for a second opinion.. They phoned me immediately and said they have to see me tomorrow morning at 09:30 because it is def in the direction of pre-eclampsia and it is not a joke! My white blood count is ok this time, but my albomien (sp?) (liver function) is still low..

Ladies, i'm so so tired of this!!! I feel like crying!! I feel like Armand must just come now so that all of this could be over with!! Am I selfish to feel like this?? I don't feel lekker, very tired and my body is so sore and uncomfortable!! I just want him in my arms now and know that he is safe!!

Any way, I'll update you ladies tomorrow after my appointment. By the way, do any of you ladies know Dr Frey? I don't even know if it is woman or man...
