girly your crazy family is such loving and caring people. your b/shower was absolutely perfect and you look so good my friend. hehehe your lil niece was just too sweet and she's a real lil busy body just like my monster...at laste i'm used to sucha busy child AND I love that blankie your one friend made and the toy bag!!!!!! i'm going to steal her idee and make one for lil Liam - it is a stunning blankie!


I love the belly pics...it is time to take one as well...and ENJOY the ML those already on it!!!!

well i feel BIG and heavy today, probably cos i was on my feet most of yesterday. we've started with the baby room....ja only started now...here is an idea of what we are doing. we're still a long way from finished so our weekends will be busy from now on....

How's evryone doing? New ladies too, welcome, sum on ML already, lucky u guys 'n baby showers happening, nice 1, hope u enjoyed it oh 'n nice boepie pics too

I've been dead sick with the cold starting since Wed., throat 'n body aches 'n blocked nose, everything, was off in the week that's why i'm glad my temp started already...i'm getting there, having my honey 'n lemon water but it's just u godda fight it off yourself, just taking time! Finishing off work this Fri., I cannot wait 'n DH is coming on Thurs. until Mon. & for an interview here, crossing fingers for him! My scan is on Fri. & i believe i'm invited to a tea at work on Thurs. but my temp already hinted what that's about so yaa, busy week ahead!
Evry1 at work is already asking when i'm leaving as I look as if i might pop soon

Finally got my hospital bag packed, just a few items i'm missing still 'n buying the big goodies when DH is in town...Lil p has most of her things already, repacked her cupboard 'n goodies last week, got a nappy & laundry bag for her last week-end, so glad I did, well mom did...The malls are a killer for me now, so I'm hoping to get all the last minute things done this week-end coming & hopefully i'll be much better by then!

Hopefully when i'm on ML, will pop in more often but until then, take care u all & of ur boepies, can't believe i'm heading for 36 weeks now, it's coming closer 'n closer, just under 3 weeks to go, where has time gone!

Don't forget to watch the final game tonight!

So I had my baby shower yesterday yay!
It was so lovely, and my SIL went to so much trouble! I had no idea she was the one organising it. Lots of family & friends, M2M got to see my crazy family
My little cousin, who is 4, kept trying to find the baby, she kept trying to lift my dress up cos she thought I was just hiding her under my dress!

Got LOADS of presents - so many clothes I dont know where to start! Just can't wait to go through everything later on and finalise what I still need to buy. MIL will come around later to help me go through it all.

I am awfully tired today though. The whole night I dreamt about opening presents and looking at cute clothes! Pubic bone also exceptionally sore while sleeping. Wake up everytime I have to turn. Will have to take it easy a few days again.

Will try find out if I can get the pics from my friend who took them, so that I can put some up here.

Sorry about the protein. Dont stress too much about it. You're doing a good job of flushing ur system.
Sounds like ur doc is leaning towards a C/sec then. It's really difficult because no one wants to be forced into that situation. I've asked my gynae to wait till 39w if I have to have one. And some ask to wait until they go into labour first.
I have a friend whose baby never engaged and after waters breaking, and induction, it eventually was an emergency C cos baby was just not coming down.
I guess one has to do what's best for both your and baby's health?

Eileen the sugar could indicate gestational diabetes hence having to cut out things that mess with insuline levels.

Where do u stay that you could take a swim? Wow, Cpt was icy cold yesterday. A bit like London in winter!
Scrapbooking isnt something I've tried before. Id imagine they use it as a way to reflect their personality, and express themselves? Lots of magazine pics / letters from friends / tickets from the movie they enjoyed / photo's & some diary snippets?

Haven't heard back from the gynae. But I am trying to stick to a diabetic diet....whatever that means!

My girls are back! They've been at their dad's for the holiday. Went for some long overdue retail therapy this morning. Also went to buy the fabric for the 'lazy boy' project.

I have to go buy the camp cot tomorow....again...don't ask!!!!!

We are dying of the heat! Contemplating a swim!

Bought my girls each a scrapbooking set...any help or tips?????? They want to scrapbook....but mom is clueless.

I am exhausted! Can't shop the way I used to!

Nikki, you so close! 2 weeks discount....jealos!

G...I find any excuse to buy something for bubs....even at Spar! Hehehehehe.

Morning ladies

Had my scan on Friday - going to be 37W tomorrow. Peyton is now 3.1kg. My BP still nice and low but there is some protein in my urine. Nothing serious though, I've increased my daily water intake since. I explained to my gynae the slight swelling of ankles and this nauseous feeling on thursday night and he said that is normal as baby is pushing against me with not much room to move. That would also explain the feeling of about to implode! He said that the baby is laying head down but has not engaged as yet and probably won't due to the size of my pelvis (which is very small compared to size of Peyton's head which is relatively big)

He said that her lungs are now fully formed and that there was calcification of the placenta which indicates maturity. He wants to see me on 19th with a possible ceasar on 20th July!!! I almost freaked out as I left his office as I planned on having natural and now have to face the possibility of a ceasar at 38W. He said he will monitor my BP and fluid around baby over next week and then do an internal to assess pelvic situation and will make a decision based on what's best for the safety of baby and I'm sjoe I knew that this would have been a possibility, but convinced myself everything would work out and I would end up having a natural birth.

Anyway, it could swing either way I guess...

If I do have the ceasar, it would mean two more weeks with my angel!!!

I'm so excited yet a bit scared at the same time. Feel like a wuss because pregnancy is the most natural thing in the world!
