Today is DH birthday but yaa, his not here so I sent him a little something from the 2 of us

Booked my bed yesterday but apparently I need to do a clinical with the nurse as well. My next scan is this coming Friday morning so I just pop into the hospital 'n take it from there...
Just cant wait for my maternity leave to start also, 16 July!
Insomnia - Charn, can definitely relate to that!

Girly - Hope you feeling better...

Just popped in quickly to check our meeting this Sunday LG is dosing off so i have to be real quiet, charnenay i think its best to postpone so that we can include the others, pls let me know what you decide i will check in the morning.

Mommy2monster is off sick with Bronchitis too.

Would be nice for almost everyone to make it
But we cant leave it too long - any day now it'll be due date for some of you.

Judesmom thats scary about your DH! I agree, get it done before baby arrives, so that you have the extra set of hands to help you!

Robyn glad you enjoyed your class! Shew that's hectic. Usually hospitals will have fairly neutral class givers. The one I've had before, when I went with a friend who was expecting was very pro natural, but they did give a class on c/sec and another on assisted deliveries (but we were not allowed to call them deliveries, only 'births'.)

Booking the bed was so easy. I had faxed the forms through last week. So when I went in on Wednesday all they needed was a copy of my ID and signing a consent form. Got given my booklet and we were done!

Just woke up from a 3hour nap an I'm still tired! Going to make some lunch now, cos we'll only eat at 8 tonight DH working late shift.

Oh yes - DH got a callback for a 2nd interview which he's going to next Thursday!
If he gets the job, he will start on 1 August - the same day that I go on M/Leave!

TGIF!!!!

Went for our first ante-natal class last night - was very fun and informative - a nice mix of couples.

Thankfully the hospital recently changed the sister taking the classes - the previous one was called "The Nazi" and totally condemned C's and epi's in her class! And here I thought these classes were meant to give mothers all the facts and options so she can make an informed choice?
Actually, I would have loved to have had her - she would have gotten such an earful from me!! he he

The tour was great - very interesting to see where it all 'happens' and to have a look at the different rooms (they are surprisingly spacious!)
The staff really believe in doing what is right for mom & baby, that everyone is different (and the sister had such a great sense of humour!)

Anyway - great weekend coming up for me, so enjoy everyone and chat on Mon (when I'm 30!! )

Babyzee, Girly, MinaMoo......... are we still meeting on Sunday or should we postpone until more of us can make it???

Judesmom is not sure if she can make it and it's Robyn's bday that weekend.

Bout Sunday's getogether i might not be able to make it cos hubby is working. But if he gets home in time then i will def come.

Hubby went to an ENM specialist he suffers from sinuses very bad so i booked him an appoinment, the doctor says he needs 3 types of operations, one his going to have his bone in his nose straighten, his tonsils removed and some other type of shavings of bone in his mouth. It's a 3 hour op and about 2 weeks to heal. The op is booked for the 17th June around the corner and he doctor said he will be like a baby cos the healing his the most painful thing.

So i will have another baby too look after for 2 weeks. Shame im a bit scared for his part but we need to have it done one time and soon. I cant have a patient around when baby arrives.

I also need to book a hospital tour gna take my forms in to book the bed soon.

Kaylee was also a few days behind at my last two scans, but gynae isnt concerned.
Nice that she's lying in position! I think that can still change right to the end! Hoping Kaylee will turn cos she's very comfy in her breech position!

Agree, you should not be working 12 hour days now! Glad you got a temp to come in. Try shedding the load now already. Only 4 weeks till M/L for you!!

My doctor said the best way to look after the pubic pain is to limit walking, and take it easy. My pilates instructor says to keep your legs closed when sitting - cos its now natural to open them but not the best (unless you have to lean forward, no way but to open the legs!)
