Sorry i have been MIA its been crazy 2 weeks my son was very ill, stupid GP's said nothing was wrong but took him to paed who diagnosed bronchitis but very close to pneumonia. Most scary time to see him like this.

Managed to read a bit of posts glad to know i am not only one who gets pain wen i get up. Its so difficult n uncomfortable to turn over in bed too. Guess its the last stretch will be over soon.

All the CT ladies if you meeting tomorow, enjoy it. To all have a wonderful weekend.

Girly, I hope you are feeling better?

I deceided to go normal delivery, but in the end will do what ever is necessary to ensure a safe delivery, so will be fine to have a C section if that is what my gynae recommends.

Anyone else feeling a little aprehensive about the actual birth?

My next appointment will be on 23rd June - also doing a tour of the hospital - going to be 32W on Sunday - cant believe how quickly my pregnancy has progressed.

Peyton is still very active, but because she is much bigger with less room to move around, i feel bigger mightier movements. My mum has finally arrived which is such a blessing as she is such a big help at the moment.

You are not going to believe this, but we had yet another break-in at the house on Tuesday - the alarm scared them off this time but it happened just 20 minutes before i arrived home - alone!

My fiancee and i have been talking about moving house as this is the second break in and we have only been there 2 months now! but things are just so hectic at the moment and I'm due in 2 months and i dont think i can handle the stress of moving again.

It better now with my mum being there during the day as the house is at least not unoccupied.

I've realized that 12 hours a day at work is not doing me or the baby any good so have starting leaving earlier, but with FIFA around the corner, will have to go back to crazy hours.

I go on maternity leave on 9th July, but thinking of maybe going earlier - they finally found a temp hotel manager for 6 months so that is a huge relief for me -he starts on 28th June, so if all goes well, may just leave earlier.

Is it safe to colour your hair during pregnancy? Did some research and some say its fine whilst others warn against it....

Girly, enjoy the day at home. wish I could still be in bed. Was up at 5AM this morning!! and been in the office since 6:30AM!! Not sure how I am going to stay awake until 4PM, I already feel like going back to sleep

Scan went well yesterday - Emily is now 1.67KG's and scan showing her a few days behind at 30w4d - should be 31w1d. Doctor rescheduled caesar from 26 July to 2 August. Still planning on taking my maternity leave from 15 July though - I need my rest, getting REALLY difficult to get out of bed now! 29 more days at work - not tooo bad, but yet still seems soooo far away

Doctor scheduled my appointments for the duration of my pregnancy and I cannot believe that I only have 3 more appointments before the caesar!!! Doctor still only seeing me 4 weeks from yesterday and then 2 more visits after that which are 2 weeks apart. She said if anything changes, we will schedule more, but she sees no reason to see me more often now as everything is progressing well. Baby lying in perfect birthing position and putting up a great show DH said he woke up at about 3AM this morning and put his hand on my tummy and according to him, madam was kicking up quite a storm Just glad I can sleep through that!!! I hope she is not going to be a night owl like her daddy!! I'm going to have to learn to express night feeds so that I can sleep blisfully unaware while she plays with her daddy

Aah what lovely pics sonja! She is adorable! Hope you are feeling better now?
I cant wait for my 4D scan. Will be booking it tomorrow hopefully!

And glad your scans went well too.
Wish I had such a pronounced bump. I had a good layer of fat on my lower tummy before being pg, so it still looks a little odd, and I'm carrying it all over my waist.

I went for my scan today. Doc is happy with the progress. She is weighing 1.1kgs and 28w1d along. She's a few days behind but doc isnt concerned. She's lying breech with her feet up by her head. So cute. I was relieved not to have any sugar in my urine this time round. I have been trying harder but still crave sugar. And as per doctor's scale I've picked up 10kgs. My scale says more like 11.5 so that was nice. Just gotta watch myself the next few months to pick up minimal unnecessary weight.
I asked him about the pubic bone pain. He says its the cartelage and quite common that it will get sensitive. He says to limit my walking - so no more big shopping sprees for me. And if it gets worse he'll prescribe bedrest and using a fancy orthopedic pillow.

I finally discussed birthing options. He says at 36w he'll do an internal to assess my pelvis and see if there could be any problems.
Also got his rates, and thankfully he doesnt charge much more than the medical aid covers for c/s if it comes to that so one less thing to worry about.

Anyhoo I'm going to climb into bed now. Not feeling so well. Going to get a sick note from him tomorrw cos I think I must spend the day in bed.
