Belly pics are looking great.
Got a lot of work to do but just dont feel like it, am exhausted.

Maternity pants after initial fit of rage it was quite funny. Thanks Girly i also got some at Edgars again.

Girly thinking of you n praying that things work out for you with your n your DH jobs.

Blessed all the strength to you n your hubby on your decision making. Hope things work out for you.

As time gets closer i get bit worried cos i am only one in office who does all admin n i agreed to do some month end work while on ML hoping to get a bit of cash so that it can help us through but i hope they dont decide to dump everything like laptop n printer at my house n expect me to do work as i do here cos i definately wont manage. Ai will just have to wait and see what happens i guess.

Girly, i'll def pray for you my friend!!! God already knows what is going to happen!! I also pray that DH will get that job!!!

I'm amper in the same boat as you!! Me and DH will have to make a decision tonight! Am I going to come back after ML or stay at home!! I have to let my directors know by the end of June so that they can start looking for someone new. It is sad for me to think that i'm not coming back, but i know that i'd rather stay at home then come back to work! So ladies, please pray that me and DH make the right decision!!

I do have some cramping at my right groin area and a strange steek pain that sometimes go down there.. Going to the doc again next week tuesday, so i'll ask her then.

I need your prayers ladies also re Maternity Leave.

I mentioned a while back that the company may pull out of SA once I go on M/L. I am employed locally, but work for our UK office effectively, and I'm the only SA staff. They wont be replacing me, and will handle from UK, and chances are they will make the position redundant as they can probably do it (although I argue this) from UK.
What it could mean is a retrenchment package instead of maternity leave pay. This would not cover me for the time I am entitled to have off, but if they retrench me legally they dont have to.
The big bosses are down next week for their boardmeeting and I guess a decision will be made then. My boss phoned me about this at the end of April, and now, 6 weeks later I havent heard anything more, while he proceeds to tell me about his new house and Audi A4!

The longer they drag it out the more bargaining I could have for them to pay me for M/L and terminate the contract in December, but at the same time I really need to know! So I am trying to have faith, and be patient. I know the timing of this is in the Lord's hands!
There is possibility of another company hiring me (It would be a great place to work!) but they wont be ready for anything before November. The boss of that company is down from Germany next week for the world cup, and we'll probably meet for coffee. I'm going to have to be at my best!

Anyway, a lot of miracles will be taking place, I know this. But I'm trying not to overanalyze or think (which is just what I do) and leave it in His hands.

DH is going for his 2nd interview on Thursday, and if he gets the job will mean a slightly better salary to start, but with growth prospects. If he gets it, he'd start 1 August! The same day as my M/L

JudesMom Scarlet is a lovely name, and if we didnt have so many girls name to choose it would definitely have been on my list!
Another name I love is Leah - but again, the list is too long. And now a friend of ours due in Dec has decided on that name.
Good luck with M/L negotiations at work. They can be tough, but usually if you are honest and trustworthy, companies are willing to negotiate.

I showed DH your pic and said - why can't I look like that! Such a nice bump! And he said 'but you do?' - lol. Just shows how we see ourselves.
Re M/L I think you should allow 3 weeks at home, in case baba comes early. I'm taking 3 weeks, she is also about 4 days small for her age so maybe she'll come a little late.

Naikza that sucks girl! The nicest work maternity pants I found was at Edgars for R180, all sizes. And jeans at woolies / Mr Price. I had to stock up last week cos I had nothing warm, but only bought tops.

Ok, so the first trimester's tiredness is back!!!!!!!! I went to bed at 8 last night and can not keep my eyes open now!!!! Only a few more weeks to go!!!!
