hey guys
sorry for being MIA was really sick.i had my 4d scan on friday which was really amazing as bby gave us alot of nice pics.her weight is 1,389kg and that was on 28weeks so it looks like im having a big baby yet again.

I'm starting ante-natal classes on Thurs - feeling excited and abit nervous, but at least DH will be with me (shame, he had to reschedule his Jhb trip just for the class!)

I'm going to try Tommee Tippee bottles, pump, dummy etc - I've heard so many great things about them (how natural they are esp since I'm planning on breast feeding as long as possible) and I love the look of them - so cute! Plus, they are really not that expensive but I guess baba will determine everything in the end!

As for the bath debate - I also don't like the bath in the compactum so am going to get a plastic baby bath and try it in the bath (with the bath rest thingy) and see how my back goes - otherwise I can jsut put it on the compactum (with loads of towels around)

I'm also going for natural (will see how the bad the pain gets before I decide on gas/epi etc)
Thankfully my gynae is very pro-natural and pro-epi
so we'll see how things progress but 3 of my 4 friends who recently gave birth had to have emergency C's which is abit scary (and they each have completely diff body types, so can't blame big baby from small mommy)

I'm probably going to give the get-together a miss as I'll be pretty exhausted from my birthday weekend (having a party on Fri and another one on Sat) but you guys all enjoy!

Hi there Ladies
Been quite hectic at work, so abit quiet from my side.

Went for my 27wk scan yesterday with DH & MIL.
Dakota now weighs 950g and I've picked up a total of 5.3kg altogether (was abit nervous of stepping onto the scale as I really felt like I had gained about 10kgs this month alone!)

Got our compactum yesterday as well, so now I'm jsut waiting for the linen & decor I ordered to arrive (probably only end June) but it's certainly starting to look like a nurdery, rather than a spare room!

I must be very lucky but I'm having such a great pregnancy so far - no aches or pains, sleeping fine, no stretch marks (touch wood, spit 3 times, throw salt over my left shoulder ........)
So sweet - DH said last night that's he's so proud of me and how well I'm doing, how being pregnant really suits me and how much he loves my bump!

Hey ladies

Really struggled to sleep last night!! Have not really had problems with insomnia before now. I was lying awake in bed from 9:30 until about 11:00 or just after and then I woke up again at 3:15 and just could not go back to sleep. Not sure exactly what time I drifted off, but last time I looked at the clock it was 4:45!! Then, I had to get up at 5:30AM!! Said to DH, no way I'm doing this and got right back in bed and slept until 7:30 and then only got up to get done for work. I just knew I would feel like a zombie at work if I hadn't done that.

Girly, actually not having to much pain at the moment, it seemed to have "disappeared" for now!! Just very uncomfortable, but not much pelvic pain anymore. Struggling to breathe when I lie down to read though, so going to have to start reading in my rocking chair - at least get some use out of it, that way DH can't complain about the purchase

Mornings, Just got back from my appointment and gynea was really nice this time.

He is happy with everything and says baby is growing perfectly. She weighs 1,234 and i have only picked up a kilo since my last check up.I now weigh 64.2.

my next apppointment is the 22nd.

For the meet i think DH is going to watch Jude give me a bit of a break.

With regards to bottles, with Jude my mom bought me the whole NUK starter pack and jude didnt latch to it. he however loved the Avent but he hated the avent dummy and loved the NUK, dont ask i found that very weird too.

As far as birth plans i think im going natural with Epi wouldnt be able to handle the pain.
