Flowergirl... if its ANY consolation K was doing that two a week or two ago and i too was seriously going dilly... but i think it lasted a week or two and then eased off. I found the best thing to do was give her something else...

Last night i gave her an ice-lolly... just frozen apple juice, but oh my she loved it to bits!

Hang in there, it will get better

Hi ladies

OH MY WORD!!! Emily is NAUGHTY at the moment!!!!!!!

Not sure what to do with her :( she nags from the time she wakes up until I leave home in the morning. Apparently then she is fine  and then she nags from the minute I walk through the door until she falls asleep at night!! I am seriously bleak about it. I thought it was because she was sick but she is MUCH better now and the nagging is getting worse. It is very depressing for me because I don't get to have any fun time with her at all. She nags for EVERYTHING!!! Now I can handle alot of things, but I HATE nagging!!

Last night, DH took her for a walk after supper because he could see that I was getting super frustrated (even though he had looked after her on his own all day - shame). He brought her back 5 minutes later SCREAMING!! Why? because she wanted to crawl in the road - like seriously!! It was only 6:30, but I had, had enough so I just took her upstairs - bathed a screaming child and washed her hair and then I put her straight to bed. She was lights out before 7!!! THe sun was still high! This morning she wakes up nagging again for DH's toothbrush, my sweing kit while I put a button back on my blouse, her glass fairies on her bookshelf, my hand mirror, my make-up, my nail polish, the bowl of fruit, the carton of milk from the fridge!, screamed because she could not get the lid on the container of her blocks!! All that in the half hour that I was trying to get done for work! GOD, she is seriously testing the boundaries here!!

I know when K was little she also started showing signs of lactose intolerance - nothing major just a bloated tummy, so the paed suggested i use Lactaze drops... you put three in each bottle of mild, shake and wait about a half hour and it breaks down the lactose in the milk to be easily digested. and they were relatively cheap from dischem too.

Perhaps its worth a try?

:P so last night when i got home i thought i'd try the dried out cell to see if it can be resurrected... and guess what... it worked. So no harm done :silly:

Pink... so tonights meal is quiche...

-Grease muffin pans... spread ham and grated cheese evenly in tray
-Make scrambled egg mixture
-4 eggs, some water (or perhaps alpi milk), a teaspoon of baking powder. some spices (optional)
-Pour scrambled egg mixture over cheese and ham
-Bake in oven for half hour at 180 or till they start going golden on top.
-Take out, cut in to baby sized pieces and serve with veggies.

:-) Have a good evening ;)

Robyn - they'll be fine. My parents are the same as yours and MIL is super with Evan. Too cute on the "duck"! I hope you are feeling much better. What pathetic service and when you're feeling that horrible! Get Doxyfene - you cannot function after you take it and you will be wobbly but trust me . I suffer from terrible migraines - myprodol are like smarties.

BabyK - you need to book a ladies weekend away and leave your DH alone with John. Really - you will be sooo appreciated when you come home. I swear - it worked a bomb for me. I think too often they look at you and go - so what did you do all day. Like all you do is sit on your bum! DH couldnt believe I actually get anything done. :) FX for all the job applications. Just keep on doing it. Something wil come up.

PM - Im glad Abby's feeling better and she's braces free :) I love the idea of the mini - show. Shame she also needs to feel special. You are lucky to have 2 such creative girls! Haha, Evan loves his daddy's guitar too :) Have you made her veggie fritters? Can she eat pasta?

Kerry - shame man. It's rough doing it all :( DH is working like a dog at the moment, only getting in @ 7pm. Getting up @ 4am to study. So it's all on me. I paid R 100 for Evan's blue horsey. He loves it though but we need to reinflate it. Its a bit pap now. Maybe I should just pop in at china city. That is so cheap! Sorry about the phone but also HAHA. We were saying the exact same thing about Evan. We assume he cant do certain things so dont worry. Next thing you know you catch him doing xyz! Evan's hair's also blonde but getting wavey and it's quite thick - what hair he does have. Evan has started throwing tantrums when I try giving him mashed food or if I try feeding him. He's happy eating on his own...

Flowergirl - such good news that Emily is doing better!

Hello!

Yesterday was just a bad day for injuries! Poor Iz fell her knee open at ballet. What's next?

Robyn, shame hun, must've been horrible. Thank goodness you are feeling better.

Kerry, thanx for the ideas, I am surely taking out of it what I can. We are mos lactose and soy intollerant, so I really need to plan Iz's meals. She can't just eat what we are having. Almost all spices have soy in, and milk is hidden everywhere.
