Shame Robyn - glad that you are feeling better - what a nasty experience. I practically live on adco dols and I know it's bad, but I get really bad tension headaches. Adco Dols does leave one a bit light headed though, so I always make sure that I have eaten first.

Hi ladies
Well I had a hectic couple of days

On Mon afternoon I started to get a headache at work but didn't have any tablets with me (DH had taken them out my bag and forgot to replace them!)
By 16h30 I had a full-blown migraine and left early, but started to feel nauseaus due to the pain.
I just made it home and ran straight to the bathroom
Now I had nothing in my stomach and really needed to take 2 adcodols (very strong stuff) so I quickly had an apple and a banan and 2 tablets and went to bed.
By 18h00, I threw up again and the pain was unbearable so DH said he's taking me to the emergency room
We went to Tokai Medicross (closest to me) but the wait was over an hour (just GP's there, not a hospital emergency room) so we tried Constantiaberg (closest hospital emergency room) but was told the wait was 45-60mins and the cost would be minumum R600 ( )
I said I couldn't wait there for an hour, so we went to the hospital pharmacy and was given valoid suppositaries ( ) and Migril (hectic Migraine meds)
R60 and 10mins later, I was in bed, starting to feel the meds working
Unfort at 04h00 I woke up with another headache, so made myself some toast, had another tablet and woke up at 11h00, light-headed and whoozy from the meds (needless to say, I was in bed the whole day)
Thank Goodness I'm fine today, but that was not fun!!
And what the Hell was up with the so-called Emergency rooms?!!

Cute Pink - K still only has mama... dada and hello... well that are discernable at any rate

Lets see if i can remember her last few meals
She eats everything with her hands now... doesn't like being fed with a spoon)

- theres macaroni and cheese... she loves eating the noodles with her hands
- last night was haddock, veggies and mash (eaten with her hands )
- night before was borewors pieces with veggie bake and hashbrowns
- roast chicken pieces with peas and rice
- Spagetti bolognaise (bolognaise sauce on a spoon bug spagetti loose)

oh and we bought frozen pizza squares a backup for when we have curry or something she wont be able to eat

Flower, jippee Emily is better!

Kerry, awh shame, these little ones get into such mischief!

Iz fell open her top lip this morning, my poor baba! Her vocab is expanding by the day, she can say 'kitaar' when she points at her dad and Abby's guitars.

Things are still hectic as the ballet show is approaching. I am just so happy to have my precious girls back!

I am seriously running out of ideas of what to feed my child. Urghhhh!

Flowergirl - sooo glad to hear Emily is on the mend! Hope your DH and her have a beautiful morning

The weather here too is amazing i just want to go home and play with K... possibly in the pool (preferably without the cellphone) But then again i may as well give it to her now!

Instead i am stuck in the office today and this afternoon i guess i am popping in at MTN to upgrade my phone... luckily i was due for an upgrade

I was thinking of a blackberry, but DH is pushing for the Nokia C7. The features on the C7 are admittedly much nicer for the same price

Kerry - that is sooo funny guess you need a new phone now I'm sure we can look forward to lots of little tricks like that. She must have been having lots of fun.

Emily also has the finest blonde hair - I'm really hoping it will change. I had a thick bush of pitch black curls at her age. Her hair is definitely from DH's family. His sister had the same fine hair at her age and she now has the NICEST head of hair, I'm hoping that happens to Emily because dh, his mother and his brothers have the most ridiculous fine hair. Her hair is also growing so wild at the moment, it looks like a birds nest

Well, she finally seems to be better!!! Thank goodness! DH is taking her to Stodels to see the animals this morning and then to pop in at his mothers work. I am hoping she falls asleep on the way abcka nd has a nice nap so that she is well rested by the time I get home.

Such beautiful weather in CPT - I wish I weren't at work and with them instead

Oh dear... our first serious "kids!" moment!

Josh phoned me yesterday from work on my cellphone but I just missed the call so he phoned on the home phone...

While I was on the homephone K picked up my cell and walked outside, I honestly thought “well at least the pool fence is finished, she cant throw it in there”. What harm can she do? what I didn’t know was that in a bucket just outside the front door rainwater had collected...

I later went outside to find K merrily dunking my phone in and out the water....

It now won’t turn on again
