Hi Girls,

Wow you were all busy yesterday!

On the topic of gifts, I bought Evan a bunch of stuff for his birthday, not just 1 big gift. We got him his new car chair, Noah’s arc musical toy, Thomas the Tank Engine set, reusable swimming nappy, sippy cup with a straw, spider man arm bands and face cloth. I have a thing about sandpits so I squashed dh’s suggestion on that. The best place to get well priced plastic toys is still Westpack at lifestyle. I bought a huge pack of those plastic balls (100 for R 100 vs toys r us – my friend said she paid over R 200….) They have those big plastic seesaws, pool / sandpit shells / swings / plastic windy houses etc. Really nice. I love those 4 in 1 bikes, I saw them at Toys r us. My dad got Evan the Thomas the tank engine “garage / train station” My uncle had the garage one (fisher price) and when I was growing up it was my favourite toy. I still want to get evan those weird looking inflatable animals that the kids bounce on. Maybe for Christmas. He already has a motorbike in his wardrobe for when he’s older. Barry’s Aunt wanted to make sure she bought him his first bike so he got it when he was about 2 months old! Oooo, also wespack has mini traffic cones – about R 9 each so you can set up a “bike course” for LO. I want to get those as well.

I went to the cake supplies store yesterday, I’m making cupcakes for Evan’s class – his birthday’s on a Friday so I have take the day off. I will still let him go to school, I have a lot to organize for his christening on that weekend. I’ll make extra for the Sunday 

Kerry, we will be there, I think it’ll be lovely J Please send me K’s gift wishlist if you have one? What do you need us to bring?

BabyK, how’s J’s teething going?? Wow, he has so many teeth already! How’s your flu / cold going?

Jeanine, Well done on Willem’s teeth! How long did it take for it to break through? You and Kerry are so brave BFing, especially with the teeth!

Sher, that sucks Sorry hun, I hope time flies by and your DH is home soon! Go to the party, try have some fun and relax a bit. I'm sure you need a break after being home alone with K.

Candice, that is sooo frustrating!!

Evan is STILL teething – the top 2 are so close but not broken through yet… He is still snotty from the teeth and seems to have a bit of an upset tummy and the start of nappy rash. Last night was brilliant, he opened the dishwasher and while I was chopping up the rotisserie chicken he climbed in. Just like K did to you Sher. He thought it was Brilliant. Had to scream for DH to come see. He took some pics on his phone, I will have to upload them. He is doing this kind of spider walk, bum in the air and hands and feet on the ground when he is trying to stand up against things he cant pull himself up against. We added a new word last night – There. I asked him where the dog was, he pointed to her and said “there!”

He is talking so much now and is like grease lightning!

been ages, i have not read all the posts, no time

work is been super crazy..... hubby been away since tues on business and was to come back sunday 5am but now problems with shipments and now is back wed 5am

so missing him....

party is tomorrow night, lets see if I am in the mood to go... DH told me to go and let my hair down, yeah easier said than done

Oh shame Candice thats terrible! I think there are some gremlins with the new system, I struggled to post earlier but managed to paste it eventually. LOVE your pictures though, she is gorgeous! The yogurt all over her face is so cute

I dont believe it! It's done it again! And this time I copied it but it will not paste the text anywhere! Dammit! I'm gutted. Was like a two page catch up complete with pictures. ARG!

Oh well. I give up. Obviously this webpage does not want me to talk to you you guys!

Rocking my theatre wear!

We are getting Iz a ride on tricycle thingy. We put her on some when we were in Durban and she loved them. The one we getting is a 4-1 and goes from a ride-on to a full tricycle. Iz actually loved the Y-bike. Don't know if u guys saw that one. Abby pushed her on the smallest one, and she steered.

Iz's cake is a 3D Castle cake. Not sure about a second cake for Iz to demolish, though its a brilliant idea.
