Hi Ladies,

Hi there Missy, great to hear all about LG. Wow she is very developed. It is so important to enjoy them as much as you can. They grow too quickly.
Everyone has different ideas about age gaps and you have to do what is best for you!

McKeilagh sleeps very well. 6.30pm to 5.45am, and has done so since she was 4 months old. So when we have a bad night we battle as we are not used to it. DH was in JHB for the night last night and MG was so restless. I had to get up at 10.30 to put her back to sleep and then she cried out in her sleep several times during the night so I know I am going to have a long day ahead of me :(

What activities do you all do with your babies? I was doing Top Tots once a week but took this term off cause I found I was chasing MG around the class more than we were participating. I said I would go back next term. And we go to Aquatots (swimming) twice a week for half an hour at a time. She loves her swimming, it is at an indoor facility with a heated pool so we can do it all year around.

I wonder if I should have started MG straight onto Nan3. She only started formula 10 days ago and I bought a tin of Nan2. But now reading your posts I wonder if I should buy the Nan3 as she is almost a year. Any advice?

Morning Ladies,

Sal - So sorry about the cold. I have been sick for a week now and its terrible.

Hoping this is my month. Can't wait for number 2. Amira sleeps through the night, wakes up at around 7. So far the the NAN 3 is okay.

Hi Ladies,

Juandre - oh my word where have you been. DOn't know if you remember me we were on the July thread, we had the same due date 08 July 2010. My lg was born on the 12 June 2010 - also 4 weeks early. Hope all is well :)

Ladies my lg surprises me everyday, she totally understands me and its so amazing. Shes saying mama, baba, dada, tickle, makes no with the head, if you ask her how old she going to be she makes 1 with her finger, shes walking up and down and she can even go up a step and down (small steps).

It so precious seeing her develop, i can't believe shes goign to be a year already. As for the party im kinds going all out didnt want to but can't help myelf. Im having a Hello Kitty party at a venue and have a party planner do the tables

2nd baby: I don't think now, i am far from ready. i don't think i will be able to handle another baby now and i want to njoy lg first and maybe wait till shes more independent like 3 or 4 yrs old. I first need my slp back LOL. She still wakes during the night and i have to rock her to sleep.

Congrats to all the preggy moomies and to all the LO's who celebrated their bdays :)

Maureen congrats! I felt like I got bigger quicker this time. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant and looked at my weekly photos I took the 1st time, I'm about the same but I really feel bigger.
Are you talking about me?

Ladies Shane is sick and so am I. We both woke this morning with colds. I'm so sad cause its his birthday on Saturday :-(

Nelria, I'm like you only organised a family gathering for the event. I figure we have like 18 more years of party planning lets not rush it, besides he's only 1, he wont know the difference.

Maureen, with number 2 I showed very quickly. At 8 weeks I couldnt hide that I was preggies. By 3 months I was in preggie jeans. I got big quickly but then it slowed down. It's so exciting for you, congrats and enjoy as much as you can!

Hi Ladies,

Nelria, we need a get together, I am a bit busy this June but will sms you a bit later on. My phone is off as it is in for repairs, once I have it back, I will give you a buzz. Nel, please don't post anything on Facebook, we haven't told a sole yet. We want to wait till we see the doctor first. Just a quick question, did you show sooner than with the first baby, I mean seriously my tummy is so swollen and standing out, like you can see I am pregnant! I am trying my hardest to hide it at the moment, but it is a mission. AND I am only 5 weeks....seriously how big am I going to me.....

Just remind my quickly wasn't there another lady that found out she was pregnant on this thread with number too quickly after the first one....

Have a great day ladies.

Enjoy the birthday's.

m

Hey there ladies

Hope you're all well!

Shoo - so many people thinking about 2nd or 3rd babies already - I'm so impressed :) I'd love to have another one with but my studying and starting immigration process it's not a wise choice right now. So there's going to be a 4 - 5 year gap between our kids. I've come to realise that it's probably best for our situation and my sanity. I'm also loving Connor so much right now.

Parties - so many parties to go to here in Cape Town and loving them all! Still doing prep for Connor's monkey theme party because I literally have one week from when exams finish to the day of his party to organise everything (at least all my lists are ready!)

Nelria - so glad you guys are loving your new home - how special!!

Talking - should I be concerned with Connor and talking? He says mama, baba, goog (I don't know what he's referring to), duh duh (not dada because we call Craig Papi) and a few other "words". He makes all sorts of sounds and noises but nothing that I think sounds like a word. He is however doing signs - he does the sign for milk and food (probably the most important aspects in his life right now hahahahahah)

I talk to him but probably not as much as I should - it's hard.

Going for his one year check up later today - excited for that!
