Hi ladies

I hope that you are all well - mommies, babies and preggie fairies.

Vaccinations - I just booked Connor's 6 week vaccination costing R510. Apparently there is one vac that is out of stock - gov and private.

Connor has been niggly since Monday. He used to sleep for 3-4 hours and now is only sleeping for 1 hour and wanting to feed every 1-2 hours. He also used to put himself to sleep and soothe with his fingers but won't do that anymore. Any ideas why this is happening?

Cloth nappies - Also, these stupid cloth nappies are leaking 90% of the time. I had to change his clothes twice last night and it's a whole big thing because he hates being changed.

I've tried picking up him before he's really awake, then I feed him first before changing nappy because otherwise he screams. He then starts dozing again but then I have to change nappy so wakes up again. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Sleep deprivation is starting to catch up with me.

I have him on NAN and he's supposed to get 100mls a feed but only drinks roughly 70 - 90mls.

Hi everyone

Zarika has picked some weight. She previously picked up 50g in 6 days and now she has picked up 110g in 4 days. She is 100g away from birth weight. The sister at the clinic is extremely happy about it. She is still so tiny and small, I think she will wear newborn outfits for some time still. She now weighs 2.955kg and is 2 weeks old today.

I also rock my LG to sleep in my rocking chair. I know it is a extremely bad habit!

All the ladies that had a c-sec : did your doctors tell you when you could start driving again?

Simone-good luck with the normal birth-I also had a normal birth but with epidural. Had a good share of contractions though.
Pain relief options I think is the etonox gas and I also think they can give you some pethidine injection for the pain.
Hope you dont have wait much longer.

To all the other mommies-how is it going with you and your little ones?

Mine is doing good so far,weight yesterday-3.5kg,pick up 400g in one week.SO far my breastmilk supply is good and he is drinking 2.5 hours during day and at night every 4 hours.
This time lucky-no sore nipples.

Hi Nelria - Hope Xen gets better quickly. They are so small, but very tough.

Yes, still going natural, but so very anxious. Will I cope?

Because I am going to a Government Hospital there is no such thing as pain relief options. Does anyone know, if my GP gives a recommendation letter that I need a Ceaser, would they accept it. I wonder. I just seem to think that this baby is very big.

Alex - how are you doing? I am going for a check up again tomorrow. I feel a lot of pressure down below.
