ok back to la la land for little boeta
alex - u lot must just tell me when i start annoying u with to much info
its just lea was colic and i had to leanr so much with her that i would like to help others avoid the frustration i had with a difficult baby
lucy - ok re niggles if u stick to routine then london will eventually completely submerge into night and day and settle for longer stretches
so u bath at 6 followed by massage and bedfeed (bedfeed must be done in very little light and no noise) then start listening to his noises at night babies have a very distinct noise when they are awaking and ready for feed - dont wait for cry it sounds like a grunt (clearing of throat) he will start in his sleep giving of these little grunts/sighs pick him up immediatly change nappy in dark and feed asap - mostly this will be done in silence then as he isnt fully awake but this way u catch him before upset - burp him slightly and lay down again if he doesnt settle straight away give some more gripe water and dummy and firmly change him to other side and cover back up
what helps is to cocoon them totally with blanket leaving very little gaping hole and then add a weight on tummy (best done with bean bag i made u all buy

this all reminds them of womb and gives comfort
if cramps start (their legs pull up and body folds at tummy) give gripe water and get heat on tummy with bean bag or firmly holding your hand over tummy - taking into own bed and draping over tummy or arm to put pressure and heat on tummy works too
serious cramps will need movement, heat and gripewater unfortunately this is the pj drill
then when daylight greet them and talk to them making sure they get its day once they settle in the night becomes placid and predictable
