Hi ladies

Going for my c section tomorrow... waiting for the nerves or something (anything) to kick in but still nothing.... is this normal??

Nice to hear from you. I also wake up every morning and think is this the day.

My appointment is also tomorrow morning.

I am getting excited.

I have been experiencing some pains for a few days now, not sure if it's BH though, also a sense of not feeling well.

Well Im still expressing but only like twice a day now. Plan to try and do this till 6 weeks. So 90% of London's food is formula. But what can I say, maybe not ideal, but he is thriving. Growing and putting on weight.

He sleeps so well in the day and now has a routine (thanks to Nelria) where at 6pm he gets a bath and a night time massage. He then sleeps well till about 9pm when he starts getting niggly. Not colicky, but niggly, seems to eat in shorter bursts and is more irritated (even if not stimulated at all that day). Is this normal??? He then settles again around 3am to sleep till around 9am. Which is great for me but not for Dad who has to go to work at 7am! So would be great if he settled earlier!!! But what can i do?

Anyone have advice to share?

Simone- i'm doing well, every day i wonder if this will be the one when i become a mommy, the waiting is driving me mad! I have a check up 2moro so we'll see how things are. How are u holding up?

Eve- really hope those nipples feel better soon, but in the meantime dont stress yourself out. U doing the best u can with Connor and thats all that counts.

Sandra - glad you are having a good experience! And I know what you mean about being drugged up, I got the shots just before visiting hour each time and I could feel my eyes crossing and there was nothing I could do about it hehe. Alex sounds like a dream!

Eve - try feeding Connar off the boob he doesn't like first and then off the easier boob Clinic sister was a real DREAM and I don't know if I would have come right without her. Also, try latching a different way, ie football hold, sometimes just changes the way they suck a bit and relieves the painful nipple a tad! Hope you come right!

GBaby - congrats on De Nys' birth! U are one of the few who got to go natural by the sounds of it! Hope you are home and enjoying your little bundle!

Junandre - Congrats on the birth of McKeilagh!

Caitlin was fussing most of the night last night...think it was something I ate, but can't quite figure what. but she is still a little angel Had to put her mittens on to keep her hands warm as they are always by her face and freezing cold. TIP for cold weather...put baby's cellular blanket over a heater and heat right through...keeps them nice and snug after a night feed Our bird bath was frozen solid for the last 2 nights so it is very cold here!

Who is left??? We need an update???

Mrs S H - Congratulations again. He is really beautiful and I am glad that you have no problems with the breastfeeding.

Eve - Sorry about the breastfeeding. When I had my LG 4 years ago, she only took one of my boobs. So one was always full and the other, I could not get anything out. The clinic sisters then just told me to carry on with the one boob. But, please do try to get the breastfeeding established. But don't ever feel guilty because she has to take a bottle. It will sort itself out, I am sure. Otherwise, is everything else going well?

Morgan - Good luck for tomorrow. I am sure all will be fine.

G Baby - Congratulations again - Glad you are doing well.

Sounds like you are doing so well - congrats!!

I'm sure you can't wait to get home - it really is so nice once you're at home with your angel

Breastfeeding - glad things are going well for you. I'm still having trouble breastfeeding because my nipples are really sensitive. I took a shower this morning and while getting dressed, my right boob literally ran a river with milk - so I expressed it. My left boob on the other hand doesn't give me much. Not sure what to do about it but in the mean time I am still using formula. Feel kinda bad about it but not sure what else to do.

Loved your birth story. I still haven't posted mine properly - just posted the jotted down point form so you ladies would know what happened.
