alex - re falling asleep while breastfeeding not problem they all do but once u done u just asap pick up and put in own bed they will stir and realise on own and then settle again (learning to self-soothe) with lea i would keep her on chest for ages so she assumed mummy sticks around always

Ronel - bummer about the choccies hehe ur LG is soo cute! Re pain, I had pain for the first week, but I took all the pain meds they offered. Voltaren supository (sp?) worked within 5 minutes and I could stand up straight. At home I only took panado if I felt really sore at night before bed. And yes, DH had to help me up from bed for the first few days at home. Caitlin is now 2.5 weeks old and I have no pain just a bit sensitive. STill cleaning with surgical spirits and I was told NOT to bath for the first 6 weeks and to shower with my back to the water for the first little while.

Nipples - gotta agree with Nelria on this one, Lansinoh Lanolin is DA BOMB!!! and I change my breast pads regularly when they are wet, change immediately. I got one crack and a little sun and the above treatment fixed it chop chop. Wouldn't try any essential oils as this could irritate if not diluted.

Bathing - every second day for Caitlin, and she loves it! Gazes at me when I wash her hair and only cries a bit at the end when I rinse her.
