Hey Nelria

I know Lea had colic and Julz Dylan had colic too... so maybe you can help?

Look I manage to soothe London and he doesn't cry for hours at a time. Sometimes its easy and sometimes not. But I noticed he does tend to cry and get niggly at night. It starts when he is eating and he will stop suddenly and scream in pain, obviously a wind or a burp needing out. But the cry he gives can be so heart wrenching, as you can see his pain. Usually I get the wind or burp out or he just goes back to normal and carries on eating.

My problem starts that at night he seems to sleep less than he does during the day. During the day he can sleep anything from 2 - 4 hours and at night its usually only 2 hours at a stretch. This is very frustrating.

Now I have implemented a night time routine with bath at 18h00 and change into pyjama's etc... And I even try and have some awake time around 4pm where I allow him a little stimulation only if he is in the calm alert state.

But the nights are so hard cause he is soo niggly, every now and again he screams in pain like he is trying to get out winds etc... But I would have spent 45min previously burping and winding him and would have had success... how much wind can 1 little baby have??? Ok he does fart like a trooper hahaha!

He is on formula and poops about 2 - 3 times a day only and I wonder if that is the reason? Mostly during the day meaning nighttime he is almost constipated...

HELP!!! As I type this he is waking from a nap - ONLY 2 HOURS long.... how can I get him to sleep longer!? ;-(

Hi ladies...

Been offline for a couple of days...so took me a little while to catch up on all the posts...

Litte Tayla will be all of 2 months tomorrow - can't believe it!!! Amazing how the time just flies by!!! She is not one that enjoys sleeping - more catnapping... but we are getting used to that!
We had a few very bad nights with her not wanting to sleep at all... then discovered the problem... she was cold!!! So we started off warming the beanbags in the micro but that was only good for a few hours... Then we found the Clicks Heating Pads... a mini hot blanky :) and it works like a charm... She is so nice and toasty in her bed now and is sleeping much better! still not through the night but we are working on that!!!

We went to our first soccer game last night - was so strange going out without our little muffin!! But very enjoyable... Thurs is the next one... and the Grannies are loving the babysitting and big gummy smiles they are getting! :)

Anyone got tips/ideas of how to get a little one off the dummy?? Or at least off sweet stuff??? The hospital started the glycerine on the dummy and now Tayla is hooked - she screams if we don't put glycerine on... and at night we have to constantly put the dummy back in when she goes through her light sleep phase!!!
