Babies generally do go through a growth spurt around days 10-12 so yes, this is probably why he is drinking so much!

I'm gatecrashing this thread - hope you don't mind...

I'm also a June 2010 mommy. Followed Lucy, Nelria and Eve here. Alex was born on 14 June via C-sect (he didn't drop and my cervix wasn't favourable). Took the plaster off last night and had a long soak in the bath - awesome. Scar seems rather high, like about 1 cm above hairline.

He hasn't given me any sleepless nights yet (it is only day 10!), only wakes for 1 feed a night. He suffers a little bit from cramps, but Telemant drops are my new favourite thing. He must be going through a growth spurt as he is literally sucking me dry. The last 2 days it has taken 4 boobs before he is satisfied.

I'm based in Durbanville in Northern Subs, Cape Town.

LucyV: I hate those buhle has them bad when we reach that pahe. she cries most of the time and does not sleep.

you should stay on microval while breastfeeding as it's one of the safest to use in breastfeeding.


as for the premarin. I would say if you are no longer suffering from the problem, stop it and see how it goes. it really should not be a long term use...
