Helloooooo to all the new ladies! Welcome to our little thread, my little Connor is now almost 14 weeks old and this thread has been so much help to me, you will enjoy it here!

@Adri - next Thursday is good for me! It will be Connors first full day at creche, but I can still visit you Girls on my own, I will be in charge of making tea, cause all your hands will be busy with your babies, he he

@Jacadebra - I really hope Connor never starts to dislike his carseat, for now, he loves it whem we are out driving!

@Lucy - your little one is still small, it might be that he hasn't yet established the difference between day and night, jusy caeeybon with your evening routine and he will soon click that night time is for sleeping! As for the winding, they really do seem to struggle with winds when they're smaller - try to burp more regularly during the feed or perhaps try some meds for the winds, like telament colic drops, it seemed to help Connor!

@Nelria - Great to have another experienced 2nd time mommy to give us advice!!

I'm sorry for not mentioning everyone by name, will catch up with all the posts later!

My beautiful baby boy, Connor Troy, was born on 20 March 2010 and my 2nd gorgeous boy, Cullen Reece, was born on 2 September 2011 - I am very blessed indeed

Thanks Adri. I will have a look. I've not managed to go for my usual walk today. James is being so difficult for some reason I seem to spend 2h30 trying to put him to sleep all so that he can sleep 30 minutes!! He is so cute though - I really struggle to not make eye contact while trying to put him down!

@All the ladies, we can get together at my place if you want, it might be a bit far out? It's about 4km from Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp. How about thursday next week (that's still in time for you, Des?) Anyone interested?

@Bronz - What age do you want to teach? I am thinking of doing my HOD after I'm done with my honors so that I can go into computer science teaching in a few years to spend a bit more time home. My work hours are currently hectic some days. And with teaching at least you're at home when your child is on holiday. Are you doing it through UNISA? 10 Modules?!?! Geesh, that is crazy! I am struggling with 5. Good luck, you're a brave woman!

@ScribblingAl - I'm doing my hons in Computer Science, what is your research proposal on? What are you studying?

@Bundle Of Joy - I also use the pram alot these days when Kara is awake (my mom gave me the
idea - must be experience :) and it works a charm! Before I never knew where to put her to just play around...

@Beansmom - I also went to a soccer game a few weeks ago and it was the first time I left my baby girl with her granny. I had seperation anxiety of note!! But we went out on Friday night again and it was easier so I guess it will get a bit easier every time. Hopefully I'll be fine by the time I go back to work!

@1st Timer - 17kg down in just 8 weeks!? WOW, that's impressive, so don't be too depressed about the weight you still have to lose! I'm sure you'll lose it over time! I'm always a sucker for gimmicks so if you want some assistance, give this website a go - www.thedietplate.co.za. To me it seems like a healthy way of losing weight without being obsessed. But I haven't used it or even know of someone who used it so I've got no clue if it works :)

Great, thanks Beansmom.
Sjoe I am tired. I smell a pyjama day. James refused to go back in his cot after his 4am feed. Would fall asleep in my arms but then cry if I put him down. I gave up at about 8am and brought him into bed with mr and he slept like a log until 11. These babies are weird I tell you! Normally he is out within 20 minutes at that feed!

Is anyone else still struggling with LOTS of weight to lose? I put on too much - like 30kg and still have 13kg to lose 8 weeks later :(
