Newborn and baby advice

Beansmom, Emily's nanny has no problem getting her down. But she's not here today and i'm missing her terribly - been able to get Emily down but it's 45min naps - madam's been waking up like clockwork, and has been rather niggly and pukey the last few days (and nights).

At least Tayla had to adjust to the nanny - Emily took to hers within 5 mins, which isn't good for mommy's ego.

How about some online marketing? And what about getting into the baby mags - sell them your story and then you won't have to pay for an ad. Or else maybe just take the plunge, bring forward your target date and place an ad?

Hello ladies... been a while since I was last on Moomie...

Tayla is getting so big! Too cute for words! We still have issues to put her down for her daytime sleeps - fights each and every one... but then sleeps well... I guess she just doesn't want to miss a thing!!! And nights are fabulous now... she goes down at 7:30 and wakes up at 6:15! Some nights she still groans for me to pop the dummy back in - but i can deal with that! Starting to slowly but surely feel normal again!

The nanny has been with us for a week now and things seem to be going well. Tayla is still adjusting to her - so is happy with her for the first hour or so - then starts getting niggly... and luckily at the moment I am still around to assist if needs be. Just hope they get used to one another very soon... i need to start getting out of the road to market my business... only have 3 months left to make my targets otherwise it is jobhunting i will ago....

@BOJ - I'm still on microval - and have had one or two days of bleeding here or there - but not a real period. But I have also finished up with the breastfeeding... T weened herself off me slowly and is now fully on formula, cereal and veg.

Ah Adri, that's good news. The carers will be just fine - they have loads of experience, so don' worry. Enjoy the freedom The nice thing about daycare is she'll get lots of stimulation and into a really good routine - just look at how well Connor is doing. Little roly poly.

There are many reasons why she could be fussy. Could be the change - how are her poos? Formula takes longer than breastmilk to digest. Maybe she's doing the four-month growth spurt? Urgh - who knows.

I'd like to do breakfast - I'll be off on the Saturday of the 23rd of October. Sounds like it's really far away. Otherwise I can do an early-morning hookup near my house (Clearwater) but I start work at 10am most Saturdays.

Bronz, that's so cute!! Kara has got this new loud throaty sound, don't know where she got it from...not very lady like.

I started to replace some of Kara's feeds with S26 gold and she's taking it fine. The only thing is she has been fussy again the last couple of days, could it be because of the formula?

ScribblingAl, after being with my MIL Kara has started daycare today and suprisingly I'm not feeling too bad. When we went to drop her off this morning all the other babies were sitting around happily...not one tear. Now I'm more worried about the carers than about her, she is not one for sitting still on her own happily...I suspect she's going to be giving them a hard time
I was expecting to ball my eyes out but I'm not, I actually feel she might enjoy it!

Are we still going to try to have breakfast sometime?

Oh I must share G's new found voice, he spoke before this but not like this.

Haha. He managed 250mls. I followed the amount on the tin. With the Isomil I was doing 120mls just under what was recommended as a feed and for the last few he had 180 but did not finish. So I was not expecting him to do that much.

So far so good. We have not had any reactions, as in snotty nose (Bearn reacts that way to milk) and he had a good poo this morn. But wow it tastes and smells nasty. He seems to like it though. Thanks for asking.
