Pinky - yes it does :)

My beautiful baby boy, Connor Troy, was born on 20 March 2010 and my 2nd gorgeous boy, Cullen Reece, was born on 2 September 2011 - I am very blessed indeed

Hey Desiree... another stupid question... does the book use the metric system? i.e. grams, ml etc.?

@ScribblingAl & @Desiree - what is the name of the book you got from Annabel Karmel? I am looking for one, but she has got quite a few!

@Scribbling - I didn't do everything exactly by the book when it came to introducing Connor to solids, but, I did follow it more or less. I did the following:

I gave him cereal after his 9:00am milk feed, I did this for a week to see how he did with it and how his tummy reacted - no adverse reactions, and he seemed to enjoy the cereal - then the next week, I continued with the Cereal at "breakfast" and for lunch, after his milk feed I gave him a few teaspoons of yellow veggie - I tried a new veggie every 3 days - butternut, carrot & sweet potato - no adverse reactions. I did this for 2 weeks - and in week 4 only, I introduced a little fruit at lunch time and then gave the veggie after his 3:00pm feed - I call this his tea/supper feed - anyway, I followed this for another 2 weeks and now I've begun experimenting with full cream yogurt, mashed bananas, etc

The Annabel Karmel book has a meal planner/schedule which is pretty similar to what Im doing, so Im glad that Im on the right path, he he - you will LOVE the book!!

Ah, thanks. I presumed that's what you were talking about but couldn't for the life of me figure it out - even googled it ;) Mine's been back for a while now. But I only used tampons the last one (was tired of feeling like that woman in the ad where it makes that fweesh fweesh sound whenever she takes a step) and it didn't go down too well. Anyone else had an adverse reaction to tampons?

I'm not sure how much Emily weighs. They didn't weigh her because they squeezed us in as she just needed to get the drops. I'll try put her on the bathroom scale when she wakes up and see if we can get an estimation. She's damn heavy though. We went shopping yesterday and I had her in the pouch and by the time I got home my back and shoulders were finished!! The woman at the clinic called her a "big girl".

I think we ordered our Annabel Karmel books from the same place, and they had the same delay, because mine was supposed to be delivered two days ago. I also can't wait to start preparing and freezing the veg. How long do you have to give them cereal before you can give them veg?

@Scribbling - AF is "aunt flow" - ie, your period, for lack of a better word. And mine only returned for the first time on Monday, it took 6 months, and let me tell you, I have suuuuuuuuuuch bad aches & pains now, yikes - forgot how bad it can get!

I have to admit defeat...I changed, I had to, I was literally soaked in the puke, he he

How much does Emily weigh now? I have to get my ass in gear and take Connor to the clinic to be weighed - I have no idea what my little piggy is weighing now. You MUST post a pic of Emily covered in the porridge, would love to see it!!

AAAAAAAAAND, finally my Annabel Karmel book arrived yesterday!! I've only just started reading it, but the recipies and ideas are FABULOUS, so creative and healthy and mostly easy to prepare, now I just have to find the time. She also suggests starting with the yellow veggies - Butternut, Carrots & Sweet Potato to begin with, but she has loads of other ideas and suggestions and tips - its a babyfood bible, thats for sure!! Im going to be buying a steamer today, and come this weekend, I am going to making a whole lot of fresh food for Connor and freezing it for the week!
