Sorry, im also butting in. Beansmom, heres what i do with my MIL. She is always first in line to give advice. Wants to tell me to start weaning my baby off her night bottle but her other grandson that lives with her still has 3 bottles during the night, and hes turning 3 in september!!

So whenever she gives me advice i just tell her that we asked the pead and he said not to do that or whatever. Ive also told her that dh and i have discussed it and decided on doing it this way, finished and klaar. Last time i got so fed up i even told her that i dont know why i should be explaining my decision!! She didnt quite catch on but she will .... Good luck

@Meags: Do you know of any worthy cause to give some baby stuff to in Cape Town? Dont want it to go to waste.

@Beansmom - can't help you with topping up after breastfeeding, but my baba is on S26Gold and so far its been going really well - the Formula seems to be doing its job & more - he's growing and developing nicely! - I giggled when you chatted about your MIL, take it all with a pinch of salt..and then do what you feel is right anyway!! Enjoy your "date night"!!
