Hi there mommies!

Well - Tayla went for her shots yesterday.. weights 5kgs @ 11 weeks... and growing nicely! She screamed as the needle went in - but then hubby popped the dummy in and she went quiet... took a little cuddle from mom after we dressed her and she was fine. She's a little sad today - so just gave a little panado in case she is still a little sore...

Hubby and I are going on our date night tonight - Toy Story in 3D.. really looking forward to it... and MIL gets to babysit without me around - probably better... lately i've been totally annoyed with her... really pushing the whole change to formula thing which I am trying to avoid as long as possible! and if I have to hear her say 1 more time that Tayla looks hungry I might actually scream!

Right - so now that I've had my vent!!!

When I do decide to start the whole formula migration I am wanting to do top ups... which formula do you all suggest when breastfeeding and topping up??

Girls, I'm very proud of those who might choose to go the BLW route. But don't feel pressured to do it. I think it's one of those things, until recently no one as every really talked about it and there is very little info on it, so a lot of people tend to go with what they know. Decide for yourself what works.

My child is 'living proof' (if you want to put it like that) that children don't need purees and cereals to grow. She's now almost 1 year old, has gross and fine motor skills that are truely amazing for her age and she's at just over 11kg (I think, I don't know!)

I would recommend reading the book, I was on page 36 and wanted to hit my head against the wall for ever trying purees and 5 different types of cereals (which I had to give away in the end)

Find me on the blw thread if you have ANY questions and read it from the start, I know it's a bit of a shlep and a long post but the beginning has a lot of points from the book (if you perhaps can't afford it)
