I tried to view the video's but i they load they just not playing, so glad ure little munchkin is growing great.

I am off to the gyne tomorrow morning so will be in later also we start antenatal classes on Monday, cant wait but do sure hope they not boring

well i have a boss thats a pain in the ass today so i better be off

Morning ladies trust that everyone is well, my mistake im 31 weeks... today we going for my 4D scan in the afternoon i cant wait.

I will get all the latest info abt weight etc.

Im not sure now when will be my last day as it luks like my date for delivery will change. Can only confirm everything after my visit to the gynae which is next week the 29th.
im definately not going be taking unpaid leave as i will be loosing out a lot of benefits from work. so its 3months plus 1 month from my leave

Hey all you girls, sorry been so quite, have been in meetings fm 7am - 5pm the last two days, eek so much to catch up on..

Anyhow went for my 30 week scan today, well 29week and 6 days. And little baby girl is going fantastic, she weighs 1.7kgs.. Dr is very happy with all. Also I have scheduled my c-section for 19 July at 8am.. Its not too far away at all - 62 days till I am holding my little girl.

Also with regards to the Tummy belt, will give you guys all the information, please send all requests to larissa@globemail.co.za; I will email you everything you need including the price. I shall get everything back to all of you by Friday the latest... Please send me ur name, telephone nr and area u stay.

naomicee - glad to hear u have found ur other babies a new home, I hope they will be happy

Sindy, sounds like ur LB is doing well, how far were you when u went for the scan. BTW love the room pics, it is gorgeous, well done.

AShbabe - ah seeing my little girl today was gorgeous as always.. ah she is getting so cute..

Jo_C - where is kingsbury, I will be delivering at Blaauwberg Netcare, getting so excited and nervous now!! Wow you have only picked up 3kg, so jealous. I found out today I have picked up 7.5kgs

naomicee - sorry to hear about ur friend, that is teribble, thinkin of u!!

ashbabe - with regards to ur friend, i think u must just explain that things are a littl tough and ur family comes first. If she is a good friend I am sure she will understand..

mjabu - glad u have all under control.. Be strong, when is the c-section scheduled for.

Also girls, I am working till the 9 July and my C-section is booked for the 19 July.. Apparently heard u can only claim from your first date of UNPAID maternity leave, So I can claim from the 10th July. If you get paid out, you can only claim from the day afer you were paid until. I will be returning to work on 10 November 2010...

So we're in the same boat. I really, really do not want to come back mid December and cannot afford a lot of unpaid leave. The thing for me is also that I usually go to Pta to spend a few weeks with family and friends in December (while they are all on leave), so if go back to work in December, I will be missing my annual "family and friend catch up visit". I've just e-mail HR to calculate what affect unpaid leave will have on my salary and then hubby and I will have to decide, but its also a crappy time to take unpaid leave, with Christmas, holiday accommodation expenses, new school year and my sons birthday early in the new year. But I guess a sacrafice or two will have to be made. I have kinda decided that I will grin (or in this case grimace) and bear it for the last 8 weeks! Comon girl... we can do it, only 8 more mondays to go!!

Jo-C: that is the problem I have. I do not want to come back to work in December. If I leave in June then I will have to be back in December.

Ash- that is correct they fill in when you will be going off. But you take your forms in before that so that UIF have time to process your claim.
