I will be going off at 37 weeks.

Ladies, sorry to just barge in like this, but how long before your due date are you taking maternity leave?

Vickyvdw: Thanks, I like the name Liam, and DH agreed to it cause it's Irish (he has this thing for Irish names, dont know why) and it means strong willed warrior, so DH was sold on the name.

Jo 3kg's woweeeeeee thats amazing, i dont know how much i have picked up i dont look and gyne doesnt tell me either so i am happy LOL, i cant even see the scale so it helps not looking

I go to the gyne on Thursday morning, cant wait

I am so sick of this place i work at can u believe the receptionist is not in AGAIN!!! gpsh she really is useless and she is being booked off for 2 weeks in june. this is just crazy

I asked my boss about my temp etc and he says they only plan to get someone in a week before i am due to leave, can u imagen that? one week???
anyways like hubby says dont stress over it, i am in a way hoping that the gyne books me off for a bit as well, i just feel that people rely on me way to much around this place.

Im still on sick till the 19th so will be bk at wk on Thursday, im just trying to adjust bk to normal. still on bed rest and taking gud of us. today im 31 weeks he is looking at 36 or 37 weeks.

Mjabu - OMGosh! Thats hectic girl. Glad you are ok and that alls well. Are you still on bed rest, or are you able to be up and about? How many weeks are you now? When Dr says deliver baby early, how early is he thinking? I've read a little about GD and luckily, like you said, it goes away after giving birth, but I did also read that you will need to watch your lifestyle (diet, excercise etc) after, as you may be more surceptible (sp) to developing it later in life if you don't manage your life style. So good diet and excercise will be yours for life. Take care, get plenty of rest and follow Drs orders.
