hey everyone its been so long...


i have tried posting a couple of times and some how , the screen bombed out. and unfortunately no time to retype.. my days are not myown with three children to see too.. very hectic. and nights are just as bad.... hardly time to take a bath or go to the loo...lol.

glad to hear all are well.... kassandra is doing great geting big.. at 5 and half wks kassie weigh 4,4kgs. she is 7 weeks waiting to see how much she weighs , with regards to the injections did you ladies do it at your local clinic, paed , where? i tried to organise to do at clicks for R75 but they didnt have stock due to the strike ... should get new stocks by next week.. i couldnt afford to pay the R1750 the hospital is asking it is really rediculous.


kassandra sleeps okay during the day.. but drives me mad at night... only sleeps between 2,5 and 3 hours and then she feeds and this continues thru the night. will try to logon more regularly

hope everyone is good.

went for my 6weeks check-up yesterday, all is good. Ive even started ovulating! decided on using Mirena Loop, tired of taking the pill daily
then took LG for her vaccines, I was more traumatised than her she cried abit, but was back to her bubbly self by the time we left the clinic.

its so silent here . . .

I did see the sale, got some really hot stuff for baby, we got her a very cute dress, she looked adorable...thanks Patty! Weather was lovely, yesterday, we went outside for a while and she was exploring, she loved it a lot...but its still a bit windy in JHB.

Jo, so this baby acne thing is pretty normal then, but it really does look awful! but it does apparently go away on its own, but leaving it like that doing nothing just feels wrong...

I may be wrong, but I think baby is becoming a good sleeper... 4 nights in a row that she sleeps throughout, even sleeps through a nappy change?? lovely stuff, then wakes up at 5 when Im prepping for work. Love it! hope it stays that way!!

Check up went well, I also got my script for contraceptives, so it's all good... she gave me the big thumbs up...so now i can start working on my figure, guys I look horrible, my tummmy is just hanging...

Anyways on a lighter note, baby's changed so much, she looks like me now at least I'm the only one that sees this resemblance she was weating a dress yesterday, she looked very hot. Big brother is very protective, he actually cried when she was very restless from the shots the other day,very cute...

Took her to the Mall yesterday, OMG we are gonna have a shopaholic on our hands! she was so curious, even refused to breastfeed as she was just looking around.
then we had a restful night, woke up midnight 4am and 6:30. enjoyed my sleep

Jo the JHB weather was also great, cant wait so we can go to the park.
my LG was like that also, they are so sensitive

What a lovely day in Cape Town today. I heard that Jhb/Pta also had lovely summer weather.

Well 6 weeks check up all went well.

Naomi/Patty - My little noodles face also looks so bad. Going on 3 weeks now, started as pimples on her forehead, then her cheeks and now her whole face is red and bumpy. Between her eyebrows and on her earlobes she has like a light yellow cursty looking scabby things. Both the clinic sister and the pead says that its baby acne, cause from the hormones in my milk. Looks bad though, hope it clears soon.

Naomi - hope your check up went well.

Patty - hope your little ones ezcema is getting better.

Hi guys
work is fine... it actually would have been perfect under different circumstances

Baby is ok, we took her in for her 6 week shots on Wednesday and she was sooo grumpy that night.

Patty, baby's rash spread to the rest of her face, she started peeling and it seems that the rash is spreading, when we took her to the clinic for her shots, the nurse was very casual about mentioning the fact that a "lot" of babies get it...could have smacked her, it can;t be normal for a baby to look like that!! Took her to the Paed this morning, also gave us a cream so we'll see how it goes.

Jo, I hope things are going better, I hope the other ladies's advice helps...

Fay, oh my word, I had completely forgotten about contraception...I cancelled my appointment with the gynae.I was worried about being the new girl who took time off work twice in one week, you know how it is, I'll have to go see my gynae at her PTA offices on Saturday.I miss the other ladies so bad, Jabu,Newbie,Juandre and Vicky usually update via facebook, but I wonder how things are going with the others...enjoy time with your baba's!
