Hi everyone,
Yep, same here... runny, yellow poo, but its all normal... it only becomes a little more solid when they start eating solids I believe... right now they only drinking, so shouldnt get any solid stools, this could be a sign of constipation, if they are...
Shame Patty, hope LO is feeling better now...
Everyone else is so quiet!!
Hope you ladies are all doing ok.... I remember my first born, I went through some "baby blues"... hope you ladies are all fine
I will say though (and really wish that someone would have said this to me at the time) that if you feeling a little down, and finding it hard to cope or control your emotions, this is all normal! Right now we all sleep deprived, topped with PP hormonal imbalances... we are bound to be teary eyed, emotional, sometimes irrational, and out of sorts.
This is by no means a measure of your capabilities as a mom, this is normal!
Things do become better after a while..... for me it happened after month 2.... it was slightly worse for me as I live very far from any family, and after my mom and in laws left, and DH went back to work, it was very lonely!!
I felt like the walls were caving in on me, and because I never ventured out (was too scared in the beginning to do anything alone with LO), I was claustrophobic and in a bad space....
Also dont feel guilty if you at times miss your "alone time" with hubby... I went through this phase as well

Especially FTM's.... this is a huge adjustment and you and hubby cannot go and come as you please anymore... and many mom's miss this1 It does not mean you love your baby any less
Anyway, just wanted to say all these things which I wish someone had said to me back in the day. MOTHERHOOD IS HARD.
If this doesnt apply to anyone please ignore lol but if you are feeling down and depressed (and it being winter in SA is not helping, as we are couped up in the house!!) please log on and post your story... no one is here to judge
Thanks, have a great weekend all!!
