Newbie sori ur night was cut short. Ive also been having some head-cold and Gynae prescribed me Karvol (dissolve in hot water and steam with it, or put it on tissue or pillow), works like a bomb.

SindyD that really sux, they should have looked at sorting out the salaries of the employees 1st cos clearly they have the money now.

Hi mommies

Today is my last day at work, yay!! I am not coming in tomorrow, sorry my work here is done ...I couldn't even pop in for a chat yesterday, trying to finalise everything, and now had to bend over backwards for people who wanted to leave things for last minute!! I have one or 2 more things to sort out then...goodbye Gautrain!!

Cant wait to go home, so not in the mood to work luckly I only have the month of June left, yeah.

Newbie, my gynea told me the exact same thing about the stemcells. He says in theory it is a good idea, but in SA with all the powercuts it might happen that the power is out at the storage facility and their generator might not kick in and then the stemcells are worthless. He also said that they are not really sure what they can do with it at this stage and all the advantages. He suggested that we use the money for something more productive. So we decided to rather not have it done at this stage and maybe re-look at it with LO no. 2.

I really hope today flies by, have a meet and greet at the office at 10am to meet the new staff members, I'm so pissed we had to take a 25% salary cut 1 year ago cause the firm was struggleing with the recession, still havent got my salary back to normal and now we are employing 3 new staff members one a new partner which means his salary is not less than R50 000.00 and I have to be happy with the fact that I'm earning less now than what I did 4 years ago I'm so not impressed. (Sorry I'm just venting)

Couldnt sleep, its 4am and I have been awake for a while. Combination of blocked nose and trips to the loo and surprise surprise, some naseua..

Anyhow Antental classes was fun last night, spoke about steam cells, immunisations and met the pead. It was informative and thanks to our pead as he made me realise that steam cells, although fantastic, its still very new and they are not intirely sure what they can do with them yet. So we just thought, we would rather not do it. For R14000 its a little too expensive.. Feeling much better about my decision too. Anyone else putting their childs steam cells away and any comments, are welcome..

Last night when we got home, as boring as my classmates are, I said to hubby, they are just starting to warm up and I am acutally going to miss them all.

Sindy_D - pleasure on the idea, i love pedi's. and thanks, love the pics too.. I am not sure, at the moment looks like more of mine, but its hard to tell.. lol

To all the advise re the thank yous thanks, I think I'll go get some mini Tex's or Bar Ones with a small thank you note and just ask my sister to hand them out to the people as they arrive. I've gotten my mom and sisters each a big box of choccies and a pedi, really love those and it's within my budget Newbie thanks for that idea. I would have loved the spa thing but one sister stays in PTA and is constantly working the other has a hubby that wont even let her go buy panties by herself and my mom wont go on her own.

Newbie your photo's are so cute, cant wait for mine. Does she have more of your or DH's features?

Congrats to everyone who is 1 week further. Man, I'm exhausted been up since 3:45 couldn't fall asleep again after going to the loo for the 3rd time last night.

Yes stem cells helps for siblings as well. Got all the info if any of u want, just send me a personal email, so I can respond to ur email. It is very expensive though.. and we dont really have that money to spend.
