@vickyvdw hope you feel better soon, you are in my prayers that BP needs to go down. Dont stress too much about the discharge as long its not red, smelly and too mucousy i think everythink is ok.

Vicky- This discharge sounds fine. But I would get your gynae to have a look this afternoon just to reassure you.

hi ladies...

i have decided to move my gynae app to this afternoon as i am a little concerned. i had problems with my bp at 17 weeks and now on my last visit 30 april my bp was 145/90 ( i had flu on top of it) i seem to think my bp may be high again. i have sweling in my hands and feet and getting severe headaches.. blurry vision. last nite actually felt faint but my heart felt as though it was gonna jump out of my chest.. baby movement is still fine , but i think it is betta that i put my mind at ease.if not for anyone else but for myself. i also have not felt well the last couple of days. and after the stress on monday with my sis i think i will feel betta.

ladies a couple of weeks ago , somebody mentioned that they discharge had changed. i havent really been having - just see through wetness. ( stupid way of explaining) now today a little bit white.. but is almost stringy. ( sorry if too much info) no smell , no burning when weeing.) was it around 30 weeks that you guys experienced this.??? there doesnt seem to be any blood or anything like that.. hav bn having major bh. very sore. but not often enough to say could be labour.

wel- my sis seems betta she just trying to sort out the whole insurance thing.. is sore but is okay . so atleast that is good

sorry if i missed others posts.. feeling a little yucky gonna put my head down a little on my desk. will try to leave earlier than my app so that i can go lie down before.

@Juandre shame i hate when that happens but i do get those sleepless nights and i'll be so tired at work. Try and drink lots of water to keep you up the whole day.

My DH was so sweet last night. I have very strong uncomfortable BH. So I went to lie down, he came to check on me and asked if I was ok. I said yes and explained what it was. Then he asked if I was timing them... he is all ready for this babe to come.

Patty-I was so worried that my baby hasn't turned yet but any way the Dr said he might turn later and if not they can turn him coz I asked for a normal birth but I hear it is painful.
Sindy D-Your idea of gift packs is fab, what do guys think one should buy realy for thank you packs.coz I had a baby shower two weeks back form the ladies at church and have one also comming soon from my Family and Friends just can't wait.

Mjabu-Your idea of dressing up and a cake is wow.I love it just that nobody is spilling anything on when is the up comming bshower,even my mom.The only thing I heard was that it will be in June, I just don't like their idea of June coz I'm a crazy soccer fan,I'm even upset that I can't go watch the Bafana game coz my mom and Dad think is a bad idea.

Newbie - My heart skipped a beat when you said "bad news" I was so releive to read that it was only that you didn't get pictures, - don't do that - you scared the crap outta me. Glad all is well and that the scan was good. Technology is amazing hey? Your brother's story sounds hair-raising, shew! Must have been awful! I can't believe your friend didn't RSVP for your shower?!? WTF is up with that? have you guys spoken at all? I was chatting to a friend the other day, who was having BFF trouble and I told her "friendship's not meant to be hard" and it just came out, but the more I think about it, the more its true "FRIENDSHIP IS NOT MEANT TO BE HARD"

Sindy - your BF sounds lovely. Enjoy Saturday. Organiser thanks yous: When my mom and sister did my first one, I found a spa that had a double room available, so I got them both hot stone message vouchers and they said they really enjoyed it as they could lie there and chat during the messages. My sister says she thinks it made it better for my mom, cos she had never been to a spa before and it probably helped her relax to have someone with her, so maybe that could be something to think. I know its a little costly, but I know that my mom and sister spent a lot of money on my shower - no one had to bring anything, there were about 30 people and we had a champaigne breakfast - so ja, I felt I had to do something.
Guest Thank yous: When I arranged my friends shower I made little pink and white thank you chocolates, so if its not meant to be a surprise you could do something small. If it is meant to be a surprise then it would be strange for you to arrive with Thank yous for everyone, so if your mom and sista haven't arranged something, you can also do thank you notes/cards later. Its a nice gesture, I don't think its essential. Only a few of the showers that I have been to has been followed by a formal thank you gesture. let us know what you decide

Patty - sounds like a real crappy day! Sorry to hear. Only 54 days to go, gosh getting closer hey! glad you are feeling better this morning

Mjabu - I am also getting to the tired all the time stage again. I'm sure its worse for you with the blood sugar levels and all the stuff you are going through, but hang in there... nearly there! Glad you are still ok...

Update on hubby's endeavour- hubby was all smiles and happiness last night. he said that things are falling into place, but that he didn't want to say anything, cos he wants it to be a surprise. Then he was like "well you already know, so let me tell you" I told him that I didn't know anything except that he was arranging something. Shame I could see he was so proud of himself and really wanted to share his achievements, but I know that he'll wish after that he didn't say anything. He asked me a few questions about people and expectations, so I gave my opinion on a few things. And I'm gonna have to get used to the fact that it will be in July, cos he mentioned that he did not get a lot of responses to mails that he sent for something he wants to do, but that after the world cup, everyone seems to get their senses back and realise that they still have to make money and that the international clients have left.
