Glad lg is feeling better Stellie. The Karvol is blerrie expensive but works well so i try not to complain. Glad she liked the sweet potatoe.
I bought Leandi a feeding chair, one of those old fasioned ones that clips onto the table. R200 at game. it works perfect coz when we go away i can just fold it up and take it along (like this weekend, going to the inlaws)
Hope you like Zani's necklace. Im actualy going to exchange mine for one thats a bit longer (just 2cm or so) Leandi is very chubby and the necklace fits perfect but im not sure how long it will last so i want it just a tad longer. She wears hers 24/7! When she baths i take it off to wash all her folds under her neck and then i put her cream on to make sure she doesnt get rash under there, and then i put her necklace back. The only one the necklace bothers is my mom. Everytime she sees Leandi shes forever pulling the thing to the front. But it doesnt bother lg at all. Even if it does fall to the back (when she sleeps) its not harmfull and she cant hurt herself in any way. you will get used to it very quick.

Tried to give Leandi some papaya last night, but its so slippery, wasnt very successful, and she doesnt want you to hold it or mash it and then feed her, she wants to hold it herself. Then i took a apple and cut it into pieces big enough for her to hold on to, nuked it for 10sec in the micro and gave it to her. Jee wiz did she love that. But dont give her purity apples, she hates it.

Christelle - Zani sounds like such a sweet baby. I have a little Dennis the Mennace at home really! I am so exhausted. The perfume was Bvulgari (cant pronounce it. Feels like you have to spit first 3 letters) lol
Smells nice but not really my type of smell. He bought what he thought smelt nice but it will do!

Ill try some of those teething stuff ladies thanks. Sommer buy all of them and see which one works because I cant carry on like this.

Oh and dont be sorry for me that he didnt pop the question, we talked plenty about it. We discussed the whole wedding and decided on everything so all he needs to do is ask now. He did say that there is certain things he WILL not compromize on and that my ring is one of them. We will have a small cheap wedding because he wants to spend more money on my ring and the honeymoon. makes sence though. He just says that the ring is forever the wedding is one day and then people still complain about everything. I have already worked out a little budget and I think R20 000 will do just fine for the wedding that we want. I know it sound rediculous but it will be stunning still.

Goodmornig ladies!!

Zani is finally getting over her cold. Felt so sorry for her over the weekend, poor little one had a very snotty nose. Luckily, the Illiaden (sp) drops really worked wonders. Also put some Karvol in her humidifier and rubbed her chest and under her feet (boereraat!) with Puma and vaseline. Seems to have helped a lot. DH decided to stay home with her on Friday and yesterday so that she did not have to go out in the cold. What a lovely man!!

Lolli - so sorry to hear about how your feeling. I felt exactly the same way and just wanted to cry when someone looked my way. Luckily the clinic midwive helped with Eglonyl. Really worked wonders. It was only a couple of days and I was back in control. Also started handling LO much better. I can really recommend talking to someone. Seems to me like all new mommies go through some type of PND or baby blues.

Bought Zani a bafana bafana babygro over the weekend and now I can't wait till Friday for her to try it on! DH bought her this really large crocodile (named him Kyle!) and she just loves it to bits. So cute!!

Went to go have a look at a feeding chair for Zani, but got so confused between all the different makes that we left with nothing. Don't know what to look for exactly. I only know that it needs to be a chair and that you can feed her in it . . . .hehehehe!

Oh, and I ordered Zani a teething necklace and it got delivered at the post office this morning. Can't wait to see what it looks like on her. Juanita, do you let LO sleep with it on or do you take it off?

Zani is started eating sweet potatoe yesterday, but refused to open her mouth for DH. He was making all these airplane noises but nothing. When I gave her her porridge last night, she started opening her mouth all by herself when she saw the spoon coming. So clever!! DH was not impressed with her!

Oh, before I forget, M2B sorry about no ring! Hope the perfume is a nice expensive one though!!

M2b just be careful some of the teething syrups have codene in...

M2B Lolli is right about the teething gels, those are pretty much the best of the best. Maybe ask your pead or pharmasist about a syrup??

Lolli, sorry you are still feeling crappy!! I know you might think youre not depressed (thats the first thing i thought when i had baby blues, and i waited for it to blow over, it doesnt) get yourself to your house dr and ask him for a prescription. it will do you the world of good and in a couple of days you will feel your happy old self again. Then you can enjoy your lb to the fullest and you can start to work on your marraige. i cant think that working on it now can be very productive as your emotions are all over the place. Ps i also think m2b is right, Mr T is feeling your anxiety and he can also sense that you are running out of patience, not just with him but everyone around you. Dont wait for after work, tell your boss your going now!!

Hold thumbs, the lady that helped me at UIF emailed me, they are releasing my payment today!
