Agh Joli isn't that too wonderful!!! 4.2 kilos! Well done! you must be so proud - and especially of yourself!! Haven't you looked after Callum just superbly!!! Well done! All our 'little' babies are now over the 4 kilo mark! Callum is sooo handsome I hope he settles down soon!

Hello all. OK so I never got to see the doctor. My appointment was at 11 and then at 12 she had to go out to an emergency so couldn't see me. But I got Callum's jabs done - at Stork's Nest anyways - paid R760 for stuff from the pharmancy and then took it for them to inject. At least now it's done. He now weighs 4.2kg! Quite big - he is sommer above his growth line! They did say when he was born that he would have been abour 4kg if he arrived on his due date. So at least I know my boobies are producing enough milk for my boy. He also grew 5cm in lenght . So ya, I also couldn't ask re Callum's screaming in the evening, guess it will stop at some stage.

Ai I can't wait for more news from all the new mommies. Lucy how are you doing girl? Em's Mom's babba is so nice and big hey.

Meags, shame man, you must get one of those inserts for the carseat to support his body and head. We are using an infant carseat with a support pillow I bought separately - must I post a pic for you? Your baby is really too cute - good looking boy!

Betty - Callum wakes during the night, but only for feeds - about 2 times, which is OK, because then he will drink and doze off again. We only really struggle between 7 - 11.

Anje - brave girl! Let us know how it went. Can't believe you are still waiting for you angel to make her appearance, but like I said before, we needed at least one mommy to go over her due date, so you are that mommy he he .

Starting to feel envious of you ladies that will be finished work soon...

Schatsie - the mist was lovely this morning, drizzle - all the way to Town - the usual 1 1/2 hour drive - not that bad this morning... I still have a few weeks of that left.
Glad you have had a good nights rest. Aarg about your c - section date being moved back - hope you are not too upset about that.

Cath - there will be a 3 year gap between my 2 LO's - Matthew is at the age now when he can entertain himself and does a lot for himself. I still worry that I woun't have enough time to give him all the love and attention that he deserves and needs once LG arrives.
Yip - one month to go - I'm sure the time is going to fly by - with Easter and everything in between.. So excited, but still got so much to do.

AnjeD - braver than me going for the Brazilian. Hopefully baby arrives soon - no signs yet... HAve you been going for long walks and bouncing on the birthing ball? Long hot baths, Meags had so many ideas....

Mistymom, I am guessing a girl – love the belly pic !! Oh no, the early morning hunger is the worst, especially if hubby is not there, hopefully you had something to eat by now.

Kimika, still feeling good, I do have more discharge than usual for the last two weeks now, but nothing else really. I hope your dress will be gorgeous and that you will feel sexy and feminine in it. Your cupcakes look delicious!! Glad everything went well with your future SIL.

Schatsie, ah how nice, glad you had a good night’s rest and sorry re the change of your c-sec date, remember it could still be changed again. It is great news that you are both healthy and doing well.

AFM: I have doing all the things people suggest, except eating and drinking funny things – any suggestions ? A I going to tempt Murphy today, I am going for a Brazilian wax at 16h00. My hubby says L will arrive on Friday….mmmmm….we’ll see.

Joli shame man I hope callum settles soon and paed can give advice. It's the worst thing when their little faces screw up all red and you have no idea what the problem is!!! Usually with william it has been straightforward so far - food!

Kimika divine that reuben is doing so well and is relaxed i know what you mean about broody for next one LOL! Also thinking couple of years though it would be divine to give W the full attention he deserves for a while! he is soooo cute oh my word I just adore him! I am convinced he is laughing (!!) and smilling already but it may still be gas...although SERIOUSLY he has literally LAUGHED/GURGLED/GIGGLED twice now in the middle of the night! He was 5 weeks yesterday the little angel love!

Oh Meags, I'm SO happy for you that Mat is finally out of NICU and you got to take him home! The pics are gorgeous! Can't believe how tiny he looks in the car seat! And you must be so happy to finally have him in his cot!!

Yes Misty and Amy, yay on only 2 more days of getting up early and sitting in traffic! I'm SO not going to miss it!!

I went for another gynae appt yesterday. My health, blood pressure, etc. is still perfect. Arno is 3.1 kgs now - he only grew 200g in the last 11 days, but dr says he is still very chubby and a few weeks ahead of the average size (he should've been 2.8 now). Dr also said that it is normal for their growth to reach a plato towards the end. Still absolutely no sign of Mr planning to make his entrance into the world tho and dr changed his mind again, so now I'm back to the original C sec date of 21 April.

I managed to get a decent night's sleep propped up on my 4 pillows again, so at least I feel quite rested today.
