Tazzy - Sorry about needing the cytotec. Are you allowed to take buscopan with it when BF. Cause that is what I used when I had to take it for my MC and it helped a lot.

Schatsie - living with pain is really hard and it is very hard not to get depressed. Hope you win soon.

Karin - It sounds like K is a hungry angel which is always a good sign. How are you healing?

Claire - Yes the kit arrived, but I haven't opened it yet. Next day or so when I start this zen pregnancy thing -LOL!!- finally. Although still have a wee bit of admin to do tomorrow.

Rakker - Too sweet!! I agree that he looks like he has highlights. Looks so thick and healthy too. Did he keep it, or did it change?

I just know there were loads of other comments, sorry. Hopefully be better at keeping track as I start mat leave tommorrow. Yippee!!

Emsmom - shew I got so excited for a second there! Oh well its better that spec stays in for awhile longer.

Meags - I also did the cook - a - thon before Amelia was born. I bought a whole lot of foil dishes from a catering shop. Then you don't have dishes to wash either

Afm - sheez what a busy afternoon. Dh and I had a parent meeting at hannahs school, then took Amelia to be weighed and checked. She is back up to birth weight again. Then to gynae - so he does a scan and sees a clot stuck in my cervix! He did an internal and tried to pull it out but only a piece of it came out. It was the most painful gynae visit ever. I'm so glad I didn't have to push a baby out, cos I'm quite a wimp!
Its still sore!! He has given me more cytotec (damn it) and betadine douche to avoid infection.
Dh thinks the douche bag is hilarious. My gynae was kind enough to sketch a little step by step drawing of how to use the douche. Dh and him had a good laugh.
Anyway - so I hope this silly clot comes out soon, I'm so sick of the bleeding now!

Kimika - why not just email or phone your gyn to make sure. My gyn says that once you stop bleeding its not normal to start bleeding again. Does it look like fresh blood?

Long time no see... sorry, I'm just so busy with my little angel and don't have my hands free enough to get to my computer. My blackberry is giving me trouble and I need to send it in for repairs so Im struggling typing on that.
I've been following you guys some when I have a chance, but don't seem to be able to get ahead, lol.

Sjoe.. time moves so quickly, you guys are all so close now... Meags, EmsMom, soon we will all be Mommies, not Mommies to be anymore. I tell you, the last few weeks feels like forever, but once baby is born time flies again!! Cant believe my angel is 8 days old already... She's so precious, just love her to bits.
She's a very good baby so far, very calm and relaxed and sleeps so much during the day. Like my hubby says... eat, sleep, poop.. repeat..
Night time she's awake a bit longer, seems to want to feed more then. But not too bad, I can cope. Just so tiring sitting feeding all alone while the rest of the household sleeps sound. (sigh)
One thing I wish was that night time poo's were non existing... LOL.... she'll feed, then fall asleep, then tummy will go... then we need to change...then need to feed again... sheez... tiring.

Amy-b yes, the cause of the pain is called SPD - Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphysis_pubis_dysfunction It's especially sore when I have to get out of bed, or out of my car or even just getting up out of a chair.

I hold onto my bed and squash a pillow between my knees when I need to turn. Then I walk tiny baby steps until I get the movement going. Apparently physio could help, but I haven't tried it yet - haven't had much success with physios in the past.

My dr told me to get a maternity support belt (a decent one with Velcro, not those plain material ones - you can get them at big pharmacies) and this does seem to help since it keeps the Symphysis Pubis bones together, not allowing them to move too far apart, which does make the pain less.

Oh man the baby pics on here are so nunu. I look at the babies and think I can do this. I can be calm and positive and have this baby which ever way it comes.
Meags I can't really see the difference in ur pics but my word ur tummy is big. It looks so perfectly pregnant. My tummy was stretched beyond limit the last time so now iv got a lot of fat and this baby not big enough to fill out my tummy. But I hope to lose all the tummy weight from first time once everything is over and I have a baby.
Schatsie iv been reading that u also get those horrid pains in ur pelvis. Does urs also pain wen u wake up from a nights sleep or a nap?? How do u get off the bed. I roll over and ask my husband to pick up both my legs and put them down then I wake up and take small steps.
