CONGRATES TAZZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YAY ON OUR FIRST GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

AFM - appontment went fine this am. Baby Wallace is now measuring 35 weeks :woohoo: (and I am only 33 on Friday!). 2.5k already. Like an impatient girl kept asking him when baby will come...heee heee and he kept teliing me only 10% babes first time are born at 38 weeks  I am also glad the only weight gain i had since appointment 3 weeks ago is babies! (I have already put on 19kg...think that is more than enough!). So happy :) :)

Tazzy- Congratulations, what a lovely big baby girl! (i think jono only weighs that now at 3m LOL)

LucyW and anyone else going for a C-sec, i was thinking about you all last night. They used to give Synap forte as a pain drug after the C-sec but it's been recalled for annalisi on an ingredient so they are now giving something called Tramacet. For some people it has nasty side effects and for me it was the worst runny tummy i have ever encountered. Now trust me after a C-sec a runny tummy is no joke cos you just can't get to the toilet quick enough (thank goodness for huge maternity pads  ) IF you do find you're getting a runny tummy and cramps tell the Dr to change your pain meds. They will try to suggest it's the voltaren suppositories causing it but i tried it out again after my steralization and it did the same thing. I promise you it's awful! so just be warned it's good to have a bowel movement after the C-sec but if it becomes watery and you get bad cramps insist on a different drug!

Such a shame actually because synap forte is a real good drug but it'll be off the shelves for a little bit longer.
