Tazzy - congratulations! So pleased everything went well. Sounds like you are recovering well, off the pain meeds and already up and about, you are a superstar!
Meags - how are you? You must feel better to have gotten your feelings off your chest, haven written everything down.
The first year of marriage is definitely the hardest, and thrown into the mix you are having a baby, which comes with hormones cand a huge change of life. Before i had Matthew DH and I enjoyed going partying and socializing, at the pub, with friends, at the sports club - wherever. It was also difficult to change our lives when M arrived. But you do. Hopefully DH will come around when baby is born. Perhaps he feels a bit overwhelmed by everything. I think of you often and you really deserve to be treated like a princess and the love that you have for everyone should be returned 10 foldxx
Faw- perhaps you should get the family advocate to give his opinion on whether DH should get access. Generally the court will give the husband access, unfortunately even if he has not been paying, unless you can prooove to the court that it is not in the child's best interest to see his father. Eg if he is a drug addict or alcohol abuser, then they may grant his supervised access. The courts are of the opinion that children should have relationships with both parents.
Hopefully you sort everything outxx and can enjoy the rest of your ML before baby arrives.
Late for work ladies, will try catch up with you all later xxxhello to everyone else!
