Hehe Rakker I also wondered if KarinM is not going to be the outside horse we've been speculating about in the guessing game.

KarinM yes thanks, I'm doing fine. My backache is just really killing me, not that it is anything new, but I'm thinking of asking my boss if I can perhaps get parking in the building, because walking a block from the parking area is really getting too much for me now. In fact, even walking to the bathroom is a mission and I still have 7 weeks at work. I definitely think I made the right decision in not working right till the end! I'm really still not very big, but it's getting harder to get up every morning and I get so tired during the day too!

I got an e-mail from Panorama medi clinic this morning with an invite to a "Pregnancy Education session" in celebration of Pregnancy Education week. They are covering the following topics: "Sleep Training, Breast feeding and baby safety and tours of the labour, neo-natal and paediatric wards"

We chose not to go for any classes. so I thought we might attend this instead - even if only to see what we don't know. :)

Tazzy - thanx for accepting me on BB!
Also thanx for the tip on the Slow mag... will try it tonight.
You girls know that eina period feeling where you're feeling sore and heavy "down under"? Well, thats how I feel with tummy feeling like I need the loo all the time.. but not happening every time.
Well guess we'll see by tomorrow.
For now I'm doing the "follow your instinct" route and preparing just in case. Veet, no hair down under, washing hair etc.
If it's nothing, then hey, I'll at least be all nice and clean in every way, hehe.

Cath, I also hate that dreaded forms. Wish the agencies who queue for you could complete them and get all of the stuff that you have to attach to it.

KarinM, I'm wondering if you are not the outside horse (hope that term exists in English, as it does in Afrikaans...) that will be next. Let us know tomorrow what the gynae says.

EmsMom, 30 weeks sounds good. With my son I read that you must start at 35 weeks and well, that was the day after he was born.

Kimika, can't wait to hear what the gynae says. Exciting (dragging) times!

Meags, you know about "It never rains, but it pours"? That's what came to mind when I read your post. What was the level? I can't remember what is seen as normal. Hope it gets sorted and that you can start to relax.

Claire, *hugs* for you.

Tazzy, so close now! Feels like yesterday that you were TTC.

AFM, nothing new, really. Just sleepy most of the time and I dread the remaining 12 weeks (or less, of course). And today I have a head ache, which I luckily don't often get. BP was a bit low yesterday and the day before, so that also contributed to the fatigue, which was deffinitely worse than usual. Luckily it got sorted with some salty food items, none of them healthy, LOL. That packet of chips probably did the trick all on its own...

Hi ladies,
I'm at the carwash (long queue) so I'm going to try catch up a bit!!

Kimika - I've also had an increase in discharge. But its not EWCM is more creamy. I do rememeber the Jan/Feb ladies mentioning that towards their due dates. Our time is almost there!!
Can't wait to hear what your gyn has to say, and if you've dilated further.

Meags - sorry to hear that your glucose came back abnormal. I hope its nothing. But even if you have developed GA is easily manageble with diet.

Karin - I got your BB request- thanks!
I've also had one or two nights in the last week when I've thought for sure I'm going into labour. My body also stiff the next day. My gyn told me to increase my slow mag to 2 a day and touch wood its has really helped with my BH. Buut I get terribly BH. And I have since about 20 weeks. So I'm kinda used to it. I hope you can take it easy today and get some sleep!

Karin good luck at your scan, sure it's just your body preparing - remember you're almost there and 37 weeks is considered 'full term' so you're safe either way! In fact I read yesterday that these days if you are even past 29 weeks your baby will most probably live a wonderful healthy life! Amazing what they can do these days! Good luck and let us know!

Sorry Claire, that crash really shocked us all terribly and to have known someone on it is just awful. Sorry man :(

You ladies are all much more proactive than me LOL! I'm just letting nature take its course (and trying to be patient) so really just keeping self rested and happy and that's my prep! :) I will let you know if this approach works, or if indeed I am overwhelmed and clueless when William is born LOL! :) Let's hope not!

Either way we're all talking about weeks hey! So exciting!!!!!!

Busy doing UIF forms OMG what a nightmare even though I paid a consultant to do 'for me' I still have to schlep around getting certified copies, etc etc etc nightmare from hell!! And all for a pittance!! Oh well I suppose every bit helps and when I"m on 60% salary then i'll be glad I did it!!
