Hi girls ~

I'm a bit worried today... Hardly slept at all last night :(
Went to bed at about 10h00 and started getting really uncomfortable, painfull backache that started in my lower back and ran down my top legs a few times... Also some BH and Period like pains in the front. My tummy also felt a bit upset (not runny), but I had to go visit the loo twice in two hours (sorry for TMI)

It came and went for a few hours, I tried to walk it away or lying on my left side but the lying down just made it worse. :S Eventually I must have dozed off with being so darn tired, this morning I woke at about 5h00 and still have the back ache - not as intense though as last night. But my inner thighs and top legs feels like I've had a major gym work out... so stiff and sore.
Feeling out of sorts this morning... now it might be because I'm exhausted from lack of sleep and stress - or I'm not sure if should be overly worried...
Tummy is still a bit upset... feeling a bit nauseas still.

Well, I've got my 36 week appointment with my dr tommorrow afternoon ~ I'm just going to hope and pray all is fine. False Labour most probably.

Tazzy - Amelia is such a good size already! Wow, thats great news. :)

Claire - shame man... that plane crash really rocked me too... its so sad. :( Hope you'll be okay.

Meags - sorry about the glucose test... maybe its just something small! Please keep us updated.
Hope the moms you're going to meet are nice and you make a great friend or friends soon. :)
Oh and we have a La Leche League lady here in George! :woohoo: Definitely contacting her soon.

Kimika - enjoy your scan! Hope you get some good news. :)

EmsMom - thanx for accepting my BB invite. :P You must try taking a pillow with you next time you might want to see a movie, it helps putting it behind your back. I'm going to try getting one or two more movies in if possible.... just missing it so much when baby is there.

Schatsie - Hi! See you don't have personal news so hopefully that means all is well. ;)

Meags at my last scan at Kingsbury the dr said that since my baby was quite big for his age (2 weeks too large) my gynae should send me for the glucose screening. He sent me but also said that if I had gestational diabetes my amniotic fluid would also be too much, which it wasn't.

So it would seem that a overly large baby and too much amniotic fluid is an indication of diabetes, but I have not heard you say that any of the drs told you that, so maybe you'll be just fine. Holding thumbs for you!

Must you see a gynae now? Let us know!

Morning ladies!

how is everyone today?

Kimika you still holding that baby in??

Misty, how did the check up go?

Tazzy that is a lovely size! Yay for big babies :) Not long now to go!

Claire I'm so sorry to hear that, a friend of mine also lost her friend on that flight. Scary when it hits so close to home.

Meags, the hypno book suggests we start from 30w. And of course we are wanting to self induce at 37w. so always best for me to be fully prepard :) I hope you have a good meeting with the other moms. Always nice to have a network of peopl around to help you ease into your new life.
I hope all is ok with your glucose and that its nothing serious. Wouldn't Mat be alot bigger if you had gestational diabetes??

Last night I went to watch "love and other drugs" with my Ma - was a good movie, but will be the last one I see in cinema till after baby comes, just not easy to sit still for 2hours anymore, and those chairs are not the most comfy.

Anyways hope everyone has a great day :)

Morning!

Meags, any news on the glucose screening?? Doesnt gestational diabetes mean you have a large baby too? Matt isnt big for size is he? Hope its just something small xxx Sounds fun to meet some new moms in the park.. hope they are as nice as our moomie friends ;) As for the BH, they are def stronger than before and Im gettting a lot of them at night now .. they wake me up! Also Im getting a lot of discharge.. more than normal.. so not sure if its from the pressure of baby engaging or is it my mucus plug disintegrating in bits  Anyway, other than that Im actually feeling great! Much better than last week.. :)

So I have my gynae appointment today just after 12. Very curios to see what has happened in the last week. I just hope little baba has grown enough.. she was most worried about that, not that I am but its just better to see them grow enough a week! Also going to ask her for antibiotics.. this cold has moved down into my chest and I have a bit of a tight cough.. nothing bad but want to make sure its 100% cleared asap!

Will come update you girls as soon as I get back.

hi ladies

Kaylae - no I do not suspect DH of cheating - he is the last person on this earth who would do something like that (well that's my opinion anyway). just think I have weird dreams!!
glad the cough syrup is working - it really helps loosen the phlegm. hope you feel better soon!

EmsMom - how come you are starting perineal massage so early? is it cos you are hoping to go into labour from 37 weeks?
I am only starting perineal massage from 36 weeks.

Lucy - I would suggest the Lansinol nipple cream. But yes, breastmilk will work best and even if your nipples arent cracked or bleeding, you should express a bit of milk out after a feed and let it dry before putting your bra back on just to keep the nipples conditioned. and yes, sun tanning nipples after a feed is good too!

Karin - you must find a la leche league person! they are magical!

Tazzy - wow nice big baba!! not long to go for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

claire - sorry about your client xx

MistyMom - you dont need to start perineal massage until 36 weeks so dont stress yet :) you can also ask your gynae if he/she does perineal massage during the delivery to assist in stretching (beware...99% of gynaes just cut episiotomies to speed up the delivery so they dont have to sit here waiting for an hour)

Kimika how you feeling? any more strong BH?

Today I plan to just sit at home...I need to clean the house but I really dont feel like it...
and I want to start suntanning this white belly!

this week I also need to iron everything I washed for Matthieu - it's quite creased. I'm sure that's a full day to itself!
Our trunks were suppose to arrive this week...but they got delayed in France. so we'll only get them next week.

found a webiste to meet other mom's. will be meeting some of them at a park next week. hope they are nice...
