Hi ladies

ok I'm going to do my best with personals (but I am not going back to re-read the posts). So please forgive me if I forget you or something important you posted!!!

Lucy - I hope you had a wonderful weekend away. I am so happy you and DH bonded and spoke a lot about Tessa - wondering when DH and I will talk more about Matthieu

EmsMom - how are you? So sorry about the non home birth...nothing will take the disappointment away. Just try look at all the positive for your new birth plan and so happy you still going for the VBAC :)

Kaylae - you really make me smile (a lot :) ) I love the way you explain things. When your belly button sinks inwards, it's not baby pulling on the cord (their cord is not attached to your belly button - it's attached to the placenta). When your belly button sinks inwards, the baby is in a posterior position (their back is against your back). As for the coughing...did you try the Expigen cough syrup? And this may sound bizarre...but have you tested for TB? It is the most contagious disease and is caught just from walking past someone who has it (and even if someone spits on the street, you can catch it from walking past their spit!!) I caught it about 2 years ago. Treatment sucks as it's 6 months. But it is easily curable. So if that cough doesnt stop - maybe get tested?

Kimika - my word you are almost 37 weeks!!!!!!!! Do you know that means you are considered term!!!!!! And 2cm dilated at your last visit...wow...seems you may be next!

Joli - I love all your photos of Callum. Just too gorgeous for words! How are you feeling post caesar?

Cath - not long for you either!!! you must be so excited. I'm so jealous :)

MistyMom - how is the heat in CT? any better?

Schatsie - isn't it your baby shower on Saturday? are you excited?

KarinM - your belly photos are gorgeous! so perfect :) Cant wait to see your other photos

ok that's all I can remember...sorry everyone else!!!!

So DH is going away from 25 Feb for 1 week...I'm feeling quite sad about it. He leaves on a friday so I'll be all alone that weekend!!
Have tried finding moms and tots groups online so we'll see how that goes.
My mom left this evening to go back to Switzerland - she'll be back in 6 weeks. I am a bit freaked out being here on my own now...feel so alone...
Got my maternity shoot on Saturday and our trunks are only arriving next week (they only left SA on Saturday...can you believe it?????). So I have nothing to wear for the shoot :(
So I gotta go find a sarong, nice colourful scarf and a flowing skirt this week. Bit of a waste buying just for the shoot but I really have nothing nice to wear.
Put the pram, car seat, baby walker and feeding chair together today. it's under the company budget but we have to spend all the money in the first 2 months of getting it. so we've literally bought everything we'll need for Matthieu, even if we only need it in like 6 months time!
finally got our TV working. what a mission.
I will have more time for Moomie now that my mom is gone. She was such a help. I would never have been able to get as much done without her and I think I would have been very depressed if she wasnt here, with all the financial stress etc.

spoke to DH about the lack of sex...turns out he is really disturbed to have sex with my big tummy! So...not exactly sure what to do but I am having withdrawal symptoms so gonna have to do something! Maybe I should blindfold him so he cant see my tummy :p
It's his birthday on Saturday too. I bought him the XBox Kinect. He is going to be so excited!!
then Valentine's day on Monday (we not going to celebrate) and then our 1 year anniversary next weekend!

Hellooooooooo girls. Hope you are doing well. Sorry, I get time to read, but not to reply. As you can imagine things are a bit hectic with 3 kids and I have also started with studio shoots again.

Tomorrow I'm taking Megan back to the dermatologist and Kayla to a casting in the afternoon. I'm leaving Callum at home with my MIL and will try and rush to be back for his feeds, otherwise she will give him a bottle (expressed milk). We don't even have formula in the house, so I'm a bit proud of myself :-) he he. Can't believe how well the breatfeeding is going. I struggled with the girls. On Wednesday I need to go to work to sort out the office leave etc. and to hand over and on Thursday I am attempting the UIF offices. MIL is going home on Friday, so I need to get everything sorted this week as I don't want to take Callum out as yet. Sjoe it's really different bringing a prem baby home!

Got so much issues to sort out with medical aid as well. I'm STILL waiting for my invoices from the midwives so can't claim that money back. I'm actually pissed off with them and the more I think about it the more pissed I get. The Saturday before I had Callum I told my midwife that I was having bad BH contractions and that it felt like Callum is moving down and she didn't pay attention to that and when I called her to tell her my waters broke she very matter of factly told me that she can't do anything for me! Then the people who tested Callum's hearing told me to pay cash which I did and now they've taken the money directly from Discovery as well. And Discovery still did not refund my gynae and bloods test for my pregnancy from last year. Argh and I so don't have time for all this. Oh and now it seems I need to pay the anesthetic cash and claim back. Gosh! Oh I also found out that the reason why I had such migraines and vomited after the c-section was because the needle went in wrong so spinal fluid leaked. My tummy is still sensitive - not on the cut - more above it - is this normal?

Karin and Meags - love the tummy pics. And Kimika those animals are just too gorgeous.

Sjoe can't wait for some news on the next arrival. Callum will be 3 weeks old tomorrow.

Some pics to make you brooday he he.

Lucy - So glad you had a great weekend! :) It helps to put back the "mojo" in ones relationship as well. ;)

Kaelay - Im sure there is some cough syrup that it safe.... just cant remember which ones now! Maybe one of the other ladies can help with that...

Schatsie - nope... its definitely not my pelvic bone, not that low, its in my tummy per se...LOL
I googled it and there seems to be quite a bit of women that has experienced this strange phenomena and there doesn't seem to be a proper medical or non medical reason for it... but it certainly does happen and the babies is fine afterwards...hehe, maybe its just the little ones being so crammed up in there when they moving around a lot their joints crack like ours do sometimes... (because I always hear it when she is very active)

Kimika - I love those animals!! VERY pretty and cute! Cant wait for the photo's you going to post. :)

Oki doke, gona log off now and make dinner.
Have a lovely evening all!

Karin, sounds like you had a great weekend!! Cant wait to see your pics :) As for the clicking.. did you maybe swallow a bic pen and now baby is busy with that? ;) No sorry.. have no idea and never heard of it :) hehe.. Hope you find the source of it soon!

Lucy, thanks! Ill be visiting the pharmacy again today.. just does not feel that its at a point for antibiotics.. will give it another day or so to settle. Its much worse at night and feels more like a sinus infection than a actual cold.. also I phoned my ENT this morning and he will prob send me my script for my chronic stuff (have been without it for a while now).

Ag man, Im charging the bateries for the camera now and will take pic later ;)

But here are the animals for the duvet, took them a while ago but 3g is always too slow to upload! Now I just need to sow them on..

Morning all

KarinM I don't have a clicking sound as such, but I have a clicking feeling in my pelvic bones when I turn around in bed or sometimes when I get up. It is apparently due to the ligaments relaxing in preparation for the birth and nothing to be worried about.

Hope you all have a nice day and week!
