Lucy - Mr Price Sports yoga pants are very comfy too :) Tessa sounds too cute for words trying avoiding the water like that hee hee.

Schatsie - nice on your baby shower this weekend - secretly envious hee hee (well not so secretly) Fantastic on dh getting a job, I also have been saving like a mad thing so I can imagine how stressful that may have been.

Kimika - sorry you so down hun xxx (maybe you called it right on pre arrival nerves?) p.s. your duvet looks fantastic so far - such cute animals.

Kaylae - my very pregnant pharmacist gave me Expigen in December when I had URTI (2nding Meags here) - do not let them bully you because the cough syryp will help tremendously - it got me through. enjoy all your babyshowers - so lovely!

Emsmom - don't you find the birthing ball relieves back tension almost immediately? I really hope LO turns very soon and you get the birth you wanted. Enjoy the CPT cooler weather today.

Betty - I got PJ's at Jam and because they are so cheap not bothered at all if they get damaged or not wearable after 3 months. maybe try there? How far along are you btw - sorry if I missed it previously? We also are not big on Valentines, our 6 year wedding anniversary is 2 days before this year so yeah we celebrate that rather :)

Meags - glad DH opened up and you are not pregnant forever xxx hope you get everything for your maternity shoot - I am sure it will be awesome! I love the xbox kinect - looks like loads of fun.

Joli - that boy of yours is so precious. hope Megan is ok and she gets her back sorted whatever may be causing it. Good luck with UIF and work too.

Karin - so interesting on the "clicking" sound... mmm pregnancy is really very fascinating.

AFM: full steam ahead preparing for little one, his room etc.. I suspect my babyshower will only be in March, but that is fine - DH will go with my lists if I do not want to - he knows what I want.

Have a fabulous day

Oh Kimika - Big hugs Hun!! It is hard and these hormones make things suck even more. Take a little time out, even if it is to eat one of your delicious cupcakes. Come vent with us too if you need.
Your duvet is going to be stunning by the way.

Joli - Callum is gorgeous and looks like he is doted on. Your photo skills truly are amazing and really inspire me to look for "pics" I really hope you get all the bills sorted out, sounds like such a mess.

Emsmom - I wonder the same thing about the water! Tessa was so cute. I am squeamish getting in the water and am one of those painfully slow creepers into the water, anyway as the bottom of my tummy would enter the ice water she would try move up higher and as the water level got higher and higher so would she!! But once I was under and not so cold she would have a whale of a time moving around and exploring. I sensed she enjoyed it....... although not the beginning bit!! Just like mom!!

Schatsie - Congrats to DH on his new job. How nice at this time. Enjoy your baby shower on sat.

Betty - I am doing gym pants and I bought a few cheap Mr P strappy PJ tops that I can stretch and yank down when I need to feed. I also am not doing the dressing gown thing ..... have a thin track top that I can fling on if I need to go any where. :)

Lovely day to all!!

Good morning all my Moomie friends!

Joli Callum's pics are SO cute! Definitely making me broody - if being any more broody is at all possible by now! :)

Meags, yes, my baby shower is on Saturday - I'm SO looking forward to it! Can't wait for it and then to go shopping for the rest of the stuff we need afterward. Everyone has told me not to buy stuff until after the shower, so we really have not bought anything other than the pram and getting the cot and compactum from our friends.

Good luck with your weekend alone. Maybe you can get yourself a nice new book about babies (I got "What the expect - The first year" the other day and it seems to be very nice and complete) and have fun reading up and preparing yourself for baby's arrival. I sometimes enjoy having some quality me time.

Emsmom, I just want to add my 2 cents worth about the hospital hypnobirth, maybe it makes you feel a bit better about it: my friend had a hypnobirth at VP in Aug last year. Everything went well until after the birth when she started bleeding very heavily. At first they thought it was from the tearing, but it turned out that she had almost no tearing, so it was internal. The Dr told her afterward that she gave them quite a scare and had she not been at hospital when it happened, she probably would not have made it. So, all in all, I think it is better to be at the hospital for the birth - just in case anything goes wrong with mom or baby! It really is for the best and you can still have it 100% natural.

Kimika, I'm jealous!! You're full term and I still have a long way to go!

AFM, hubby finally got a new job yesterday - he quit his previous job in Dec because his shifts were getting impossible, so hopefully our stress levels will go down now. With me being a contractor I will have unpaid maternity leave, so although I have saved up for it big time, it would have been tough to have no income between the 2 of us!

Morning darling ladies

How is everyone today?

Kimika, although its not ideal to do hypnobirthing at a hospital, my DH and Doula will ensure that the nurses and Dr do not say push or actually address me directly during the labour. We are all strong willed enough to make sure our "orders" are followed.
I cant believe you are pretty much full term now! Your baby could come any second! So exciting! Hope you feel better soon soon! Your animals are stunning!!

Karin I cant wait to see the photos of your shoot! Glad you had a good week-end, and hope you dont get sick.

Hey Lucy, glad you had a good week-end, its such a lovely feeling swimming with a belly, they do seem to float a bit. I always wonder how it feels for the baby.

Kaylae - hope you feel better really quickly, maybe just try and get as much rest as possible.

Joli glad things are going so well with you and you are out and about. Must be hectic with 3 little ones, but you seem to be handling everything so well! Callum looks so sweet!
I hope you come right with the medical aid, they are always such a pain in the ass.

Meags, I'm actually not someone who gets bothered by much, so while I would have liked a homebirth, I'm not shattered that I cant have it. We will make the most of what we can have, and at the end of the day as long as I get my baby I'm all good :)
I'm glad you've got everything you need now for Mat, and I'm sure that photo shoot will be fab!
Sadly lots of men have that tummy issue, so all I can say is that not long till baby is with you and then he's got no excuse.

Betty, chat to him asap and get his feelings. Gynaes are service providers and if they are not willing to offer the service you want then you must find someone who is. They cannot force you into anything you dont want.

Well for valintines day DH and I will just go out for supper. We dont really celebrate it, rather stick to our anniversary. But its always nice to go out for supper alone :)

Today I am SO tired its scary, have no idea why. I got a good night sleep. (I think) but anyways. At least its lovely and cool this am in CT. I'm totally loving it!

I'm trying to coax baby to turn, need him to do so in the next 5 weeks.... So spending lots of time on my birthing ball.

Anyways, hope you all have a fab day!

Beautiful pictures joli!

Emmsmom - sorry about not having the home birth. So happy you can still try for a vbac. I have not spoken to our Gynae yet about it. I have been told he is pro C - section. So in my heart I know that I will probably have another c - section. Perhaps I should discuss it with him at next scan on 23 rd.

The days are starting to wear me out and my feet starting to get sore.....in fact the still feel sore this morning from last night.

I see woolies has the button pj's but in winter material. Too bad. Did any of you have any luck with the pj's?

Any Valentines day gift ideas? Will probably stay at home with DH.

A happy day to everyonexxx
