Claire, ahhhwww the name thing.. not going Although we have a name that it kinda on the top of the list Im still not 100% sure of it.. I want to wait until he is born to choose but hubby doesnt want to. So Im not saying anything until we have totally decided.. maybe that will be soon.. who knows?

Emsmom, with my son I just bought a Jet special for R99 and it tore on the insides and was just icky.. so I promised myself this time around Ill buy one that I really love. Not really working out yet Ahh so sweet that your hubby spoils you so nicely when you are feeling offish! REally normal to get those days.

Tazzy, sorry about the heartburn I also have it now every day no matter what I eat.. and its especially bad at night! Amelia is a beautiful name!! Congrats on deciding!!

Meags, your 28wk bump is perfect Shame.. dont worry.. not long before you will be reunited with hubby! Dont cancel the wax.. once its over with you will be happy that you went. And just ask them not to go all the way if you dont want to, I only did it right before the birth and def wont do it again for no reason Not my kinda thing!

Mistymom, HI and welcome back Thanks for the nice words.. my sadness is getting a bit better now.. although I still really cant say his name or look at photos yet.. I cried my eyes out when I posted his photie on FB. I also try not think of him too much, but I know it will get better. I also feel happy that I really gave him the best life I could.. I mean he slept in our bed right up until our son was born (actually both the staffies did) And never slept a night outside up until about 3wks before he died I just miss having him around and under my feet the whole day!

LOL at your description of your heartburn.. thats exactly how mine feels. And then sometimes it gets worse and then you get that burning feeling so bad you become quite naar!

We have our scan tomorrow at 15:20.. looking forward to it!!! Hubby will be going along again so he is also superly excited about it.. except for the part that she has to do a swab again.. eish..

Sorry I haven't been around much! I've clearly missed quite a bit!

Well, Christmas was lovely with Bryce, Brendon & my family. Boxing day we all stuffed ourselves with left-overs (LOL as one normally does) and we watched all the old family videos - from my 21st to last December's holiday - it was awesome!

Then shortly after Christmas my best friend arrives for a visit (was going to be for 4 days but they only ended up staying for 2). I love her dearly but her kids - particularly her 4 year old son - are a nightmare! They don't own pets and a few times I shouted at them for cornering the cat & hurting him - Joey is about 11 years old and placid to the point of being stoned but to hear him scream like that made my blood boil!!!! Sorry but that isn't something I'll tolerate from anyone's kids - don't hurt mine (or anyone else's) animals! What baffles me is while watching her kids "scream in terror" when either of my dogs come close to them but as soon as they think mom & dad aren't watching they walk up behind the dogs & hit their tails etc. WTF?????

OK thats my whinge for the day - Oh and tomorrow its back to work for me!!!

hi ladies

well I slept for 13 hours. not solidly. but still feel much better today although I feel very emotional about DH being away. I woke at 3am and was so tempted to go online and see if he's on (9pm their time) but decided if I did that and he wasnt on, I'd just end up crying the rest of the night.

Have hardly done anything today. I feel useless. Like I feel like I am just lost and dont even know where to start. My right side ribs are excruciatingly sore. I have had quite a bad wet cough for about 10 days now and I think those muscles are pulled or something.

My neighbour is pregnant!!!!!!! Waiting for her to get home as apparently she has loads of gossip for me. She basically only tried for 1-2 months. Lucky her!

Schatsie I dont think my belly has grown outwards in the last few weeks. It's more growing up into my ribs and becoming more solid. For the first time the morning I was able to properly palpate Matthieu - his head, spine, legs, bum etc. However, today he has hardly been moving - hope he's ok after our hectic journey yesterday...

Mistymom LOL @ your husband saying he wants 17 kids!!

Emsmom I also just remembered my dr said yesterday that the lungs of babies who are very large tend to develop slower towards the end, so that is another reason why he doesn't deliver before 39 weeks unless it's an emergency.
