Ok...I have read pages and pages so hope i cvan remember some...

AnjeD - laminated floors are the way to go! Tiles are freezing cold in winter. If you fit good quality floors they are actually very hard to dfamage. We had them in our old house. We used (well the maid did
) a mixture of water and whoite viniger to clean them...it does not smell promise...and cleans perfect and saves a fortune in floor cleaner!

CathM - think you were asking about a book, or speaking about one. You can buy from Amazon.com or amazon.co.uk via the Take2 website...just go to the site and click more uk or more usa and you can search amazon and buy in SA (i love it and have bought all my Advent bottles, sterilisers, bags, breast pumps etc and almost 1/2 the price than baby shops here! eg: i got 2 big bottles, 2 small bottles, a bottle brush and a dummey - the advent starter kit for R208 - at baby city it is like R100 for one big bottle, dummies are R75, brush R90 etc so you can see the savings!). postage is also only R35 (or free if you collect from them or spend i think its over R800).

Schatsie - :woohoo: ayy on all the good results and that your medoical aid is paying more than you thought they would for the tests! That is a great way to start the new year...and yes your bump is really showing now! You looking good :silly:

Kimika - I am sorry about your friend been gone...its always so difficult cos nobody really understands unless they have been through something similar. Our one kitty was so sick and had not eaten in days, so we took him to the vet on Sunday (her visit an dblood test cost mor ethan my Gynae visits!). She is well now and all ok but we really thougt we were losing him (and he is only a year old). Time does make the pain go away and then you are left with the fantastic memories taht you shared together. I have a whole photo album of my 2 dogs which are now gone and i enjoy looking at them now and then. I know taht they had the best life I could give them and they enjoyed themselves!

Joli - your 30 week bump looks fantstic!! I think the talent must run in the family. I love your idea of a photo each day and look forward to follow them on facebook each day. DH just bought himself a really fancy camera as a gift to himself with tripod and all so hope he will start taking some nice family pics. We are both thinking of going on a photography course..we downloaded digital photgraphy fro dummies...its quite funny the 2 of us trying to work out iso's and all that exposure stuff...but we hoping it will be fun learning together and get us some lovely phots of our growing family. We doing our own little photoshoot on weekend so will post some pics then. ohhh and teh gheart burn...ya well with me it is not really heartburn, more like a "lump" in my lower throat that feels like I have vomit sitting there all day (sorry re TMI). I have also gone and bought a huge bottle of gaviscon, decanted some in to a smaller medicine bottle which now lives in my handbag.

LucyW - so glad that you are ok afetr the car accident. Shame that must have been a shock to the system. Your Preggy pics are lovely as well...wish I was so small...my hips seem to be growing as big as my belly!

Tazzy - Amelia is a lovely name....we are still struggling wit ha girls name..

Meags - sound slike your hliday was filled with ups and downs :S Family can be a right pain at times! I guess just look on the bright side - at least they live in a FAR AWAY COUNTRY!! Oh I really feel sorry for you packing up the last bits of the house. I am already finding climbing up on chairs to get to top cupboards and trying to get things from under the bed a bit of a mission. I am sure that once you are in the USA with Mael all will be so much better adn you can enjoy your last trimester and all the shopping. I cant wait to hear all about the USA shops! Your belly pics are lovely as well...and as fro the french health system...let it stay in France! Although My friend who is in the states and due anyday now has also said things are a lot differnet there as well. Her baby was breach but she is so happy as it has finally turned. She is due anyday now...i cant wait to here the news....

I cant think of anything else at moment...sorry if i left out anybody...will pop in later to chat about my last few weeks!

Moring lovely ladies!

How is everyone this blistering SA day :)

Meags, glad you are home safe and really hope you are resting well today and not doing anything! Let your body and mind recover a little before you crash.
Really wish i was in JHB to be with you a bit, it must be hard now.

Well last night I was a little emotional and rather over being pregnant - which is hectic for me to say cause in fact I love every second of being pregnant. Just the heat and my swollen and sore body caught up with me, and I couldn't even sit for long enough for DH and I to watch a movie together. Anyways Mat as usual came to my rescue and gave me a full body massage (even my tummy) while just letting me talk rubbish and plan my parties, then made me a cup of chai tea, put on a fav old movie of mine and tucked me into bed. So this am I feel much better and ready to take on the world again.
Going to take madam out for a milkshake just now and get some banana's to make muffins.

Anyways hope you all have a super fab day.

hi ladies

wow what a journey!!!! left france at 3pm, had to get a train to paris (4 hours) then the subway to airport (took about an hour and a half), ate a very quick dinner and then had to say goodbye to DH :( we were both crying :(
then the 10 and a half hour flight. thank God it was business class but I still only slept 4 hours. Then waited an hour to get my bags????
But I am home now. The girl who stayed here didnt even clean up. I expected her to at least change the bed linen and wash the towels. she didnt. so I had to do that and sweep the floor, buy groceries and meet my dad and he goes back to Durban tomorrow. So I am officially pooped and bloody internet is so slow.

schatsie that is wonderful news about your baby and cute bump!

lucy - what a scare with the car accident! glad you and tessa and family are fine though - your bump is coming along nicely too!

kimika - i am pooping myself for this wax. even considering cancelling it. I am suffering on and off with haemorrhoids and hence feel kind of embarrassed for her to be in that region!!

hello everyone else! will catch up properly tomorrow.
here is my 28 week belly photo

Lucy hon, i'm so glad that you are all alright! And you are looking SO stunning!! And just love your kitty! Too cute man!

Schatsie, so glad all is perfect and that baby is growing so nicely! And yay on med aid paying so much back!
Personally I'm banking on birthing at 37 weeks in order to go natural, they say this one will be bigger than Em, and she was 3.5kg at 37 weeks.

Claire, yes I'm going for try for a vbac, wont fight it if we need a c-setion, but would love to have the vbac and be able to judge for myself which I prefer ;)

Kimika, hope you find something soon. I honestly just got one at pep, I've got large handbags I'll use if need be. I'm such a lazy parent ;)

Cath, only 2 months left for you! Good luck for the appointment on thursday, I'm sure whatever the outcome you will be 100% :)

Em and I went for a lovely swim and sushi at my folks today. I've got 2 fans on in the house so am surviving the heat, although I wish the rest of the year could be weather like yesterdays :)

now to cook dinner and chill :)

Hugs to you all!
