So pead said the blood could have been caused by anything, and gave my a Lancet form and told me to take a sample to them ASAP should it happen again, but for now I shouldn't worry. He is happy with her growth and we should see him again when she is six months old.

I am finally able to put her down for her nap at work, where usually I had to use the sling.

Oh L is 3 months old today, time flies. Unbelievable, we conceived her a year ago.

Schatsie, I'm glad things are going well at work! Ya it is difficult to get them to change their feeding habbits, but maybe just keep the evening feed. Lots of moms do this.
Last day for payment is tomorrow, as I am buying everything on Sat.

Hey girls

Gee, now that I'm back at work and finally able to access Moomie properly it is dead quiet here! Where is everyone?

Although I dreaded coming back to work, it is actually great so far. My team is super nice and I'm enjoying my work as I've always done since I moved to this team.

I'm just finding it hard to get my son to BF before and after work. It is really hard to get him to drink when I want him to, rather than when he wants to as he has done so far. Evenings are still kinda okay, because I have more time, but in the mornings it is really tough. I'm sure at this rate my milk will be gone soon, but I will be happy that I have managed to do it for as long as I did. Unfortunately being the breadwinner in our house meant that I really had no choice in coming back to work now. Three months unpaid maternity leave was as long as I could manage! Silly me budgeted for 3 months, not thinking that that would mean I would only get a salary again at the end of the 4th month, so now things are going to be rather tight this month. I did my tax return yesterday and am hoping to get a nice refund as I always do, so that will carry me through this month.

can't wait for sundays meet. Missesmom my mom put the money in your account over the weekend, but i think its a little too much, but no sweat.
I am having no problems expressing milk here at work.. Wow i been working a month already tomorrow. What i do though is drink a litre of water with 8 teaspoons of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt and 5mls of blackthorn berry elixer. I sometimes add fruit concentrate as well. If i don't drink it i run into problems. I know its a lot of sugar, but its not adding to my weight. I express close to a litre every day. When im with abdul i keep him close to me which also helps with milk production.
Baby cries a lot during the day and doesn't sleep much. On sunday he cried the entire day and i was at a loss..was glad to be coming to work on monday.
My mom went to see someone yesterday and seems a bit better, but i don't really think it helped much. She is going to go for a hand op and putting my dad in a home that the medical aid will cover. She is waiting on a reply from them.
My divorce went through..can't remember if i told you in my last message. I have to go next week to get my papers. Can't wait.
Abdul went for his injections today, don't know yet how it went. He weighs 5.32kg, which means he didn't pick up much weight.. Will have to check with my mom, but he is drinking well.

Schatsie, shame, I sort of know what you mean, my temp only worked 2 months and never returned for the third month, so my work was a little behind as well. And yes, my boss appreciates me even more now, what a nice feeling hey.

Lucy, wow, don't know how you do it, I think having L at work with me is not so good, I think I am getting too attached...lol. I am sure the time away makes you love your LG even more.

Meags, it sounds like little M is drinking a lot better which is good, maybe the reflux and vomiting will settle once you are back in routine at home. Enjoy your visit with your dad, can't you stay with a friend in Cape Town, I am sure there is a moomie friend that will gladly take you in for a couple of nights.

Matt drinking better. still takes up to 90 minutes to feed but takes around 120-150ml now. Reflux still very uncontrolled and vomitting up to 2 hours after a feed. He's struggling with all the visiting and travelling. He wants to sleep all day and night poor poppet. Everyone is all over him and he isn't a cuddly baby but anyway!!

If I'm quiet its because I'm busy! Arrive in CT on Thursday so things should be a little less busy there Cant wait to see my dad and for him to meet Matt.

Staying at my step sister in JHB and she lives with her boyfriend and his friend. THEY ARE SO LOUD!! The TV is blaring until 11pm each night. They shout to each other so loudly. Not sure I can stay here when I return from CT as Matt is struggling to sleep with all this noise :/

Hey friends! Just a quicky as I know I won't have time tomorrow. I leave 5am on thursday for mauritius. Only 3 nights and my bed mate will be my trusty boob pump.
