Ah shame MissesMom - hope you are feeling better? I thought I am the only one still struggling with sore nipples. Some days Callum will drink so much that it's really painful. I even had a milkblister the other day . When my period started Callum also fought the boob?! I wonder if it's related.

He he Libra. I can so relate. When Kayla was little I was also so paranoid. Then I would stand her cot to scared to touch her and then would feel under her nose if she's breathing and then if I could not feel anything, I would start poking her! With Callum I was even more paranoid as he was prem so we bought an Angelcare which we only used for like 2 weeks and after that and even now he is in bed with me.

Wow Anje - that's amazing. Callum does not even attempt to roll over - lazy little bug!

Lucy - how did the jabs go? 4 at one time??

Thx for the comments on the pics ladies. I took them to enter them into the Naartjie clothing competition . Ya ya I know me and my competitions. Actually that other woman and I are on speaking terms so don't worry about that .

Thinking of all you ladies going back to work soon . But don't worry, I sometimes wish I can get up and go work somewhere else. It's not so glamarous to work from home really. It's quite hectic actually. People think you've got time to do all sorts of stuff and sit around doing nothing, but you still have to work to bring in money and having 3 kids around does not make it easy. But then again, I am so grateful that I can still breastfeed Callum and be here for my kids. It's also so stressful now that I don't earn a salary. I need to make sure I get enough money in to at least pay what I need to pay.

I took Callum to the paeditritian the other day but don't think I will take him again. I just wanted to make sure all is fine - I didn't take my girls so often, but you never know with prem babies. I also started feeding him a bit of cereal morning and night and he loves it! The first time I fed him he started screaming when I stop. How strange!

I dont often do this, but I need to have a selfish, grumpy post!
My periods just bloody started! My tummy is sore! Im grumpy! Kate has been fighting the boob all night and my nipples are raw! She is grumpy!
I want chocolate and some new clothing (which will more than likely make me more grumpy at my current weight )

Meags, I read something on allergies today. They basically say the following:

You must not avoid the allergen (like previously believed), but desensitise baby to it between 4 and 7 (?) months. Not sure what that involves though (Google it?)

Food allergies are usually outgrown by 5 years.

Morning Ladies!

So Megan and I only got out of bed at 10 this morning. She woke up every hour since 5 o'clock and would fall asleep 5 minutes later on the breast. But it was absolutely heavenly to stay in bed for so long, I was getting really cold this morning. I had a bit of a fright last night, I woke up just after 2 and realised it was really quite in her cot ( her cot is next to my bed and she has a bit of a nasal thing so I can usually hear her breath) so being the paranoid mom that I am I went to go check up on her. I put my ear against her face and I couldn't hear or feel her breath. I touched her face and there was no movement, so I put my head against her face again, still nothing. I eventually grabbed her arm and shook her and then she stretched out. Must have been fast asleep, what a relieve!! Hi, my name is Liza and I am an extremely paranoid mom!!

Meags I am so glad that you finally know what's wrong with Matt. Hopefully he wil get used to the new formula soon, then that will be less stress on you as well.
I wasn't producing enough milk for Megan so I had to start giving her top-ups with formula. But now she has become so lazy that as soon as my milk starts flowing slowly she starts crying and performing like I am trying to put something horrible in her mouth. It is so frustrating that babies don't understand that what we're trying to give them is actually for the best for them!

MissesMom, yay on the nanny! that will help you a lot and you must be excited about going to the gym.

Lucy I hope you will love your new post as much as you did your old one. Good luck with the jabs today! Tomorrow is my day, our pharmacy here does the 6 week injections at 8 weeks, but the paed said I must wait until this week because she wasn't well. Hubby is taking me tomorrow as there was no way I was going to do this alone...I'll probably end up crying more than she does. I HATE needles and the thought of needles going in my little baby does not excite me!

Anje thats amazing! Kate hates being on her tummy, so for the most part I forget to give her tummy time! I really should!

AFM: L rolled over from her tummy to her back last night, couldn't believe it and this morning she did it twice, hubby was able to put the last one on video. Unbelievable !! I am so proud.

Lucy, I'm glad that you are looking forward to flexi time! Always great with Kids! And nice that your companys is looking out for you! But yes must be hard to leave clients that you've been with for so long.

Ouch, good luck with the jabs today! Ours are on monday, the first 2 days are always fine cause Madam just sleeps it off, but day 3 she is always cranky!
