Feb-May 2011 Mommies

Hi all,

So I am feeling very sorry for myself today, looks like I have the flu. I have a sore body, fever and I'm coughing a lot. Luckily my nose feels fine, which is good because I get very cranky when my nose is stuffy...

Shame my poor Angel doesn't understand why I'm not giving her that much attention today. But I'm so worried that she gets sick, she still has this nasal thing and she had her inoculations on Saturday. Thank goodness for her cradle swing, don't know what I would do without it!

Schatsie it must suck being back at work, I am dreading the day I have to go back... I also wanted to express for day feeds, but I'm barely able to feed her during the day as it is, so I doubt I will do it.

Fawhaway, I'm sorry to hear about your mom and agree, maybe she should see someone.

Schatsie, not cool to be back at work and yes well done for feeding him so long. I know it just isn't easy for moms to express for day feeds.

Schatsie - I stopped with bf when I went back to work with both the girls. It just didnt' work for me.

I met Vix and Nats yesterday at Kimika's house. We got there and there were 6 babies - all boys! What are the chances hey?

Hi all

I'm back! Back at work today and therefore seem to have internet access which works for Moomie! My home ADSL allowed me access to literally every site other than Moomie!

So here I am - it is nice in a way since all my colleagues are so happy to have me back - apparently my replacement was totally useless so I scored big points in my absence. But I am missing my little angel and have thousands of e-mails to work through and a LOT to fix and get up to date, so it will be a loooong day and week!

Arno has recently decided that he's not into boobie milk anymore, so it was quite a struggle to get him to feed this morning before coming to work and expressing is just not working for me, so I have a feeling my BF days will come to an end soon. I'm happy that I managed to feed him until now.

Will try and catch up on Moomie news later. Hope you are all well and am looking forward to seeing some of you at the moomie meet on Sunday.

They say having your period can affect the taste and supply of the milk, just while you have it, so perhaps that is why they fight it?
Thankfully Kate is drinking fine now.

Ya working from home is not always easy, I'm glad now I've got Abi to watch Kate. But people do think its so easy and wonder why you need people to look after your children, they dont get you have to actually work!

Well I had a very grumpy week-end thanks to my periods, but trying to cheer myself up now.
Had a busy week-end, moms birthday and all. And on Sat we had friends around for DnD so I got a babysitter in, but she was very young 16 - and I dont think she knew how to handle a baby, but at least I could still play and not have to sit the entire time with Kate.

Katie had her shots this morning, and is now 7.5kg! Growing wonderfully!

Hi. Hope you all well, or getting better.
My divorce finally went through on thursday and he can have supervised visits. I was so happy that i cried. I am no where near ready to get involved with anyone at the moment. I got paid on friday but wasn't able to enjoy my money because i owed my mom around r2500 most of which i have paid back. I bought new work shoes because my old ones were very holy and if i stood in a puddle of water the water would come from underneath and my foot was soaked. I have enough money for a few more things i need and transport.
Abdul is well and has to go for injections on the 6th..the 14 week injections.
Other than that my mom isn't coping at all and dumps my dad on me and runs. I have told her to put him in a home and she refuses to. She rather sits and complains about him. And yells at him and slams doors. If i had the power i would put him in a home for my moms sanity. She goes outside and cries a lot. Im so scared she will give herself a heart attack or a stroke and then ill have 4 children to deal with. She needs an attitude change. She can fight what has happened or accept it and move on without fighting and start to enjoy life. My bro says she is just looking for attention. Its a mess and im the one now who is working all day, coming home and looking after 3 children while my mom goes out to cry or have fun. I haven't seen her all wknd. She left here at 10am and have no clue when she plans on returning.
