WOW, how nice to hear from everyone again!! And finally I get a chance to do a post - I haven't been here in months!! At least I do see updates on most of you and your little ones on Facebook.
I'm still crazy busy at work, but the end is in sight since I've resigned from Vodacom and am leaving at the end of March. I found a lovely permanent position in the Northern Subs - MUCH closer to home and against the traffic.
Time really flies when you have a baby! Arno has 4 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom) already. He is crawling very fast now, pulls himself up against everything and walks along the furniture holding on. He even sometimes manages to stand up without holding onto anything and can stand by himself for long periods of time now. It looks like he might be able to walk before his birthday (less than 2 months away). He is still not a big eater though - he only eats a little cereal in the mornings and some Purity (it has to contain meat otherwise he won't touch it) in the afternoons.
I'm still not too sure what I want to do for his birthday on 13 April. My friend suggested having a theme, invitations, party packs, etc., but I was more thinking along the lines of just inviting all our adult friends (we don't know that many people with kids) and getting a nice cake. I'd rather do a big party with lots of kids, etc. when he is 2 and is able to enjoy it.
I'm attaching a pic of Arno and Ryan's playdate. I still can't believe my son had his first fight!

But hey, that's kids for you!! I guess it is one of those things you have to get used to, along with them falling and bumping their heads on a daily basis.
Wow Missesmom, all those plans for DH's and Kate's birthday! You really are the queen of parties!
Meags, Arno can also be very naughty: if you tell him NO, he looks at you and clearly understands, but then he goes ahead and does it again anyway - it's like he's taunting you! And if you say no too many times he starts crying. And wow, Matt has 8 teeth already?! That's a LOT!
CAT, I couldn't see any of your pics?
Hope you all have a gr8 day!
