Cath, my son started crawling only after 1 year (few days after his birthday). He crawled for 3 months and then started walking. He was just not interested in moving around.

So nice and nostalgic to catch up on all the news!! I wish everyone was on bbm! Schatsie, nice to have you on too!

William is just the end in adorableness! Love him to bits, in fact I just popped home now (20 mins each way so could only stay 10 mins!!) but I just had to see the little munchkin! He is so sweet and cute I coud watch him for hours.

We had his 1st birthday this week (Tuesday) it was such a proud happy happy day.

Schatsie, we did precisely what you described. Had 11 people (all adults, only family + godparents) and it was perfect. We all sang to William etc and he gave such a big smile when his candle was burning. My baby!!! Next year ilke you we will have proper party party as he'll be old enough to choose theme, etc. we had a cake (my mom made) and lots of yummy eats.

Other that that life's good. It's great to be able to keep up with so many moomies day to day especailly meags who is far away but it's like she's right here!

I can't believe we have a one year old! he is happy and bubbly and crawling as fast as I've ever seen anything! loves to pull up to burglar bars and cruise on furniture (a bit) but seems far from walking. He has 2 bottom teeth fully out and 2 top emerging.

I think he likes to take his time - he only started crawling just before 11 month!?!>!?!?!

I also had a teddy bear party for Matthew's first party - also did his nursery in Teddies, I am teddy bear crazy.....

But I was thinking of a princess theme for Princess Sarah... still have have 2 months to go so will start thinking about that soon, but after Matthew's 4th birthday and DH's 40th birthdays which happen in March...

Kimika - good luck with the house hunting, can be so stressfull...

I'm crazily busy between my baking and the two boys, both still home with me. We are moving to Rustenburg in April so that's kinda a big thing for me now - house hunting

Little Reuben had his 1st birthday last week!! Can you believe it?? And he started walking a few days before his birthday. He is going for his vacs on Friday.. So not looking forward to that

Schatsie, Arno is so cute! Gorgeous little boy! Yay about the BB, now you can join our group!!

Megan has 6 teeth and no 7 will hopefully be out today or tomorrow!! It has taken it’s time though!!! It’s been almost 4 months since she got her last tooth!!!

Megan still doesn’t sleep through…and lately it has been worst – but I think it’s because she’s teething…

Megan loves babbling… and in between she will say a word… Her favourite words are Mama and Ouma…Poor DH…she only calls him dada/daddy when she feels like it…
She has about 7 or 8 words that she says often…other than that she might repeat words that we say… Like if I say “here’s your duckie”, she’ll say “duckie”… she loves saying ‘No’ after we say it to her!
I think if it wasn’t for the fact that we speak two languages to her she might talk even more – she is a very clever little girl! (Boasting mommy )

Megan isn’t walking yet…but she walks when holding onto something and she can stand by herself for quite long periods, so she might walk before her 1st birthday.
My mom said she tried to walk from a chair to a table the other day when she thought my mom wasn’t watching her…so she might be one of those “sneaky” walkers (Don’t know what you call it in English)

Megan’s Birthday is in about two months, I can’t believe how time has flown by! I am having a Hello Kitty theme party for her, cannot wait!! Stressing about the little time I have left for party planning, I like everything to be perfect!

Will chat tonight again… I have work to do…
