Nice long posts :-)
We have just got back home from a week in cape town. Amelia seems to have forgotten how to sleep at night
She still only has her 8 teeth, but her back gums are very very swollen so im sure those molars will pop out soon. Well thats what im hoping anyway!
What are you using for sore gums or teething. I put her amber necklace back on her today so i hope it works fast.

Ok let me try upload a piccie

Meags, nice long post! Let me try and do half of that...

You can count me out to TTC again (not that it needs any trying with me, LOL). 2 kids at my age (turning 39 next week) is more than I can handle. Of course I still get super broody, but I as soon as I get that feeling I visualize some evenings with the kids, after a tough day of work, on a day that DH comes home late :P . Then that feeling dissappears into thin air... Don't get me wrong, I love being with my kids, but I have only that much energy and patience. I am, after all, only human. And on this point, Meags, I feel a 3 year gap is perfect. That's more what I would have preferred IF I did any planning.

Just 2 things about the milestones... Firstly, don't bother too much if Matt is a little behind (in your eyes, because I think he is on track). Secondly, don't underestimate the effect of the otitis media. Alexander had chronic OM and he crawled late (right after his first birthday) and he stopped babbling for months. And you know what, he caught up with both the speech and motor milestones. So give it some time. or if it is suggested by the doctor/specialist, go for the ventilation tubes (grommets). I think if he doesn't react to the last course of antibiotics, that is the route to take. Those thingies made such a difference to Alexander.

Good luck with your weight loss journey. My journey seems to go on forever, without me getting anywhere :swear: .

Ladies, how about some updated pics of our toddlers?

Hi Ladies!!

So almost all our babies are a year old now. Little Sarah is the last one and its her turn this weekend!!!!

What is everyone's news? Who will be TTC again soon?? We plan to only start next year. However when I think that next year is in 7 months....that seems too soon!!!!!!!! So we'll see. Ideally we'd like a 3 year ago gap between the kids but maybe another 6 months won't do any harm. Matthieu is still very babyish. He does NOT want to walk. He can...but he doesnt like it. so he crawls furiously everywhere and only takes some steps here and there if he feels like it (which is not that often...)

He still says nothing! Just baby babble. When he sees a picture of a lion he does his version of a roar and when he sees a dog he goes "mm mm" instead of woof woof. he basically speaks in "mmmm's" so when he responds to you or wants something, its always mmm, just in different tones or amounts. No is obviously uh uh. but in a mm tone

I am embarking on a very serious weightloss journey. I have gained even more weight and now have 12kg to lose. I began the diet last Saturday and it is very very difficult. Especially since you dont see results instantly I feel like I'm wasting my time but I cant go back now because I have signed up to a program and it cost a lot of money so I have to stick with it. Apparently I only need to do it for 9 weeks. Doesnt sound too bad until you're doing it!! Cant believe not even 1 week has passed yet!! Its basically meals that are all in packets and you mix with water and microwave. there are soups, shakes, puddings, 'soft serves', mince type food (remember it all starts as a powder though  ) eggs, pancakes, oatmeal etc. I have tried a few and unfortunately on the first day I clearly tried all the wrong ones! The oatmeal was revoluting, the protein bar was way too sweat. So I went and exchanged it. The soups tend to be better. They have a very yummy creamy brocolli one. So I eat one of those meals every 2-3 hours and then my 6th meal must be home made and its restricted to so many grams of protein and vege.

I really hope the next 8 weeks fly by because this is the pits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise Matthieu has an ear infection and after 10 days on antibiotics it never got better so we start the next round of antibiotics today. Hope this cures it now. He has 12 teeth (all molars, 4 front on top and on bottom). He is now cutting all 4 eye teeth so its just never ending and I am sure its causing the ear problems.

Things with dh are ok. He's still working a lot and matt keeping me very busy so both of us are very tired in the evenings and on weekends. But we are getting along well lately which is nice. dtd is non existent. We have to really make an effort to do it but for now neither of us really cares anyway
We are going to France for a couple of weeks at the end of June and hope to have a few days away without Matt so I suppose then we'll have time for intimacy

I wont be coming back to South Africa until end of November. I'm ok with this. I think I have settled being here now.

Oh Matt is awake....chat soon!
