hi girls
man I'm still not feeling right in my lower abdomen since the birth. like in the pelvic area. the midwife said everything was fine though but I feel so heavy in my lower abdomen and my vjayjay. its so uncomfortable. I still havent had a period either and I stopped 3 hourly pumping about 6 weeks ago....surely it should have started?!
Got a referral to see a GI doc for Matt - going on 20 June. Just want peace of mind that there is nothing wrong.
I am trying to feed him as often as he'll eat. Usually not before 3 hours. So he's feeding every 3-4 hours but still only 60ml each time. Fed up of force feeding so thats that. If he loses weight - we can cross that bridge then. He drinks more breastmilk than formula. Guess he doesnt really like the taste of the formula...poor thing.
Went out to lunch with DH (well its always my idea but anyway!). So at least he got to see Matt.
Faw - I am going to keep the breastmilk as I am not convinced he is allergic since he is fussy with ALL types of milk! I guess he is just a fussy eater.... but thats very interesting they get milk from Texas! Pity I dont live there - would have happily donated half of everything I pump and probably would have kept up the pumping a bit longer to help them out.
Tazzy well done on Amelia's weight gain!!!!!!!!!!! You must be ecstatic!!! Suppose they just eat less some weeks and then do a huge catch up other weeks!
MissesMom hope you are taking it easy
BettyF - yip Kristeen is quite a character!!!! Cant wait to see her in July
Schatsie - Matt was in newborn clothes until he was about 8 weeks old. I was shocked. everyone tells you newborn is a waste of money, they outgrow it in like 2 weeks. Had I known he would wear them for so long I would have bought more than the 4-5 outfits I had!!! Now got lots of 0-3 months and they are not that much smaller than the 3-6 months so I guess he'll only wear the 0-3 months for a short period!
Lucy - I must try the massage at a nappy change instead of bath time (MissesMom you also suggested this to me before...)
Usually I feed a bit before the bath, in the bath and after since he isnt drinking well at the moment. Try get in as much food as possible so he'll give me some sleep at night!
He definitely sleeps longer on formula...his first night feed is generally around 1am but last night after EBM he woke at 11:30
