Joli well done on the BF for so long!!!!!!!!! I am jealous Honestly this de-frosting of EBM is a pain....and he had sour milk AGAIN.
AARRRGG.. I thought once defrosted you could keep it 24 hours (in the fridge) and so I kind of thought that at night I can leave the bottle next to the bed ready for feeds (our house is cold from the aircon) but clearly not...so I'm going to switch to formula at night and EBM during the day so I can use it immediately instead of it sitting out. poor child. But he never fights it!!! He drinks it...I dunno why I decided to smell it this morning (after he gulped down 70ml)...
Kimika I think its giving him diarrhoea?? I will see over the next week. Otherwise I think he might just have the milk allergy as he is on a cow milk based formula now and since starting he's had diarrhoea....he didnt have that with the soy.

Lucy the gecko's really piss me off because I'll be walking around and suddenly stand on something and its a friggin head......yuck.
Yip that lady totally lost it with me on FB truth me told I was actually VERY hurt by her comments and she ruined my day!!! She is a family friend we've known for about 20 years!!!! Not sure if you saw the other comment from a guy saying I'm a disgrace! Sigh...old people...hehe

WELL DONE ON SLEEPING THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jealous is an understatement. I dont know what is up with Matt but the sleeping is getting worse and worse!!!!!!

Well M's feedings are still the same. Once a day he will take a full feed. I just dont understand how 2-3 weeks ago he drank 150ml (sometimes even 180ml!) and now he wont take more than 70ml???? And the thing is I'm sure its why he sleeps worse. Because he is hungry and not getting enough calories to last!!!
He only sleeps 2 hours each time slot at night (after midnight) and then wakes to feed. But because he's tired he sometimes only drinks 40ml then fast asleep. I am exhausted
I'm managing to pump like once every 28 hours now. My one boob/nipple is so sore though (like a stabbing pain).
Wont be storing anymore milk though as I started the new pill last night and it goes into BM so I think I may even just try stop pumping altogether...will see...
M has had diarrhoea for 3 days now. Day 1 was an explosive diarrhoea poo. nothing on day 2. and day 3 was 2 diarrhoea nappies. Will see how it goes the next few days as maybe his tummy is just adjusting to the milk or the sour EBM caused problems or its the allergy.
My cat has hurt his nose?! He has a big scab on the whole tip of the nose and then yesterday he developed one by his eye? Not sure if its a type of fungus or what as it seems to just get bigger. Difficult on the nose since he keeps licking it. So annoyed as yesterday it flared up. The day before it was there but hardly bad and we were at the vet for their injections...of course it had to get worse the day after...Aarrgg...will keep an eye on it...maybe have to take him back.

dam I wanted to say so much more but cant remember now...need to nap...losing my mind!

Hi ladies! Gosh Kimika that spider oh my word!! Meags, what happened on facebook?? Those pics of Matt what an absolute CUTIE and such a happy looking child!!! Stunning!!! He is gorgeous!!! I will do a whole lot of personals but wanted to say : my birthday was on Sat and as a present to me (!!!) I think William slept through – as in SLEPT THROUGH – 8.30 pm-ish to 5.00am. I couldn’t BELIEVE it I kept on checking my little book I keep with his feeds in it (time and mls) to make sure I was not dreaming! Then same on sat and last night – last feed 22h30 and he was up smiling at 6am! I don’t know myself!! 3 nights of FULL SLEEP!? Had a gorgeous birthday, thanks for all the moomie friends’ wishes. Meags. Please tell me one last time when where the meeting is in midrand or is it somewhere on facebook? Money wise OMG totally broke (literally) have like R500 til end of the month lol but am owed some medical aid money and UIF! At the end of this month I go back on full salary (I was on 60%) I thought I was doing well but ja, I’ve been quite naughty shopping wise. Plus we’re going to cape town on sat for a week (staying at the most beautiful place www.houtkapperspoort.co.za it’s also CHEAP in winter 65% off the price!!) so had to pay for those flights, etc etc etc Our house sale has come through so we are really going to have to be frugal! It’s a lovely big house in linden, lovely garden, pool, trees, double storey with gorgeous views (ununusal in linden which is rather flat!!!) and a lot of it’s quite new so we can leave most of it unfurnished lol cause we don’t have all our furniture yet just the basics! Will catch up proper later – Joli amazing about little one still on breastmilk I am sure he is growing beautifully! So William is doing the private vacc route (cost a bloody fortune, I think I paid over R3000 for the consult with paed idiot woman who said W had a heart problem and for the big vaccs and med aid reimbursed me R1000 of it gulp oh well, next time I will go govt route) Lucy you mentioned the rotarix or Kimika, william had the rotarix at birth, then at 8 weeks had the 2 big injections then at 3 months ish he had another rotarix. At 4 months he’ll have the 2 big injections again. I wonder if I can go to dischem for them?? I must ask the nurse we have a new place opened down the road and she sounds very on the ball.
Will catch up later. I woke up this morning and even though I told everyone before I can’t believe these women who give up their careers – if I could afford it (i.e. get the salary I get still LOL) I would give up work IMMEDIATELY!!!!! Just LOVE being at home with little one, being able to be a ‘proper’ wife/housewife – LOVE IT! 

I'm super annoyed with Telkom.. lines have been down the whole weekend and it the whole estate! grrrrr... wonder how long they are going to take to fix it? Ive heard of people having to wait for weeks because lines were stolen!

Joli and Misses - thanks for nappy info. I also just leave iit clipped and stretched it to fit the insert. I love the cherub tree's too. I also have 2 bumbeetles which are almost the same as a cherub tree. What do you ladies do for poo stains? I soak over night in cold water omo and this works well but a little worried as I seem to think you aren't supposed to soak them! Mmmm must check!

Meags - 5 ghecko's !!! I'd do my nut! Had a good laugh at the pic of your DH and I agree with Kimika that that lady on fB lost the plot a bit. M is an absolute honey pie and he has such a cute smile, are those dimples? (green blanket pic)

Betty - I feel your pain about S not sleeping in the day. To give you hope ...... T started day sleeps at about 9 weeks. Not too regular but improving with most passing days. Good luck!

Had a lovely busy weekend, including a work lunch (took T with since I am on mat leave!) and it was great seeing colleagues and customers again. T was an angel and everyone went goo goo over her! ( they need a proud mommy beaming smiley face!!) hee hee

Meags, yip that soapy smell is when its sour Pietertjie drank sour ebm once and his breath smelt sour after it he fought against drinking it but he eventually had most.. didnt do anything to him though.

oooo Matt is such a cutie!!! He really is a handsome boy Meags, you can really be proud! And I can sommer see how nice and plump he is.. for sure no need for you to worry about weightgain!

Joli, ja thanks for the coffee And the PHODIES!! They are toooo stunningly beautiful! Im so impressed with our family shots.. they came out super.. Pietertjie is so cute in them phew.. was worried because he is such a little will of his own! Ill load some on fb and here for the girls, but our telkom line is down and Im on the 3g.. super slow! Ag Callum is so cute That laugh of his is adorable! You must record it!

Maybe you should try one teat size bigger? Maybe the milk comes too slowly? Strange that he just suddenly refuses his bottle..
