Oh dear! Was goring for at least a page of posts to keep me company on this feed! LOL!!

Betty I officially start work on the 18 july but will do that four day trip on the 7-11 july.

Cath that is horrible about the milk going off. I would never have thought! I am starting 1 bottle of formula tomorrow to start preparing my body for work.

Missesmom poor sick sausages. That must have been hard to cope with. I hope your two little beauties get better soon. Take care of Mamma too.

Tessa just had a temp and cramps the first night after her jabs and seems fine since. Yippee. I do 6 feeds in a day one me which is a marathon one after bath time. The midwife says I should be feeding 7 times. Is this right? I seem to be continuously feeding.....she gains at least 200g a week, so surely she is not starving. I have rather mixed feelings about starting a formula feed today. I am going to try train the boobies to feed from 5pm until 7.30am everyday. I will start with Nan HA, DOES anyone have experience with this?

Today I am going for an assessment with the biokinetist to see if my tummy muscles are joined again and get a program of what will help this. Apparently doing sit ups before this can stop your tummy from going back to normal. Going to give pilates a try too. Got a class starting here for post baba moms. Well that is my little bit of news.

Cath, yay on sleeping through! Sorry about W crying now, I also cant handle it when Kate cries (only ever in the car) cause she doesn't normally cry, so it stresses me.

Joli, with Em I got my periods from day 1, even though I BF for a year exclusively.

Yesterday had 2 sick girls, Em had a seriously bad cough and Kate had a snotty nose. And then had to take Kate for her shots. Thankfully Kate slept the entire day - literally woke up 3 times the whole day, got fed, changed and back to sleep. She is now at 6.5kg.

Agh Meags I'm so sorry about that cow that was REALLY inappropriate what she said I mean HELLO saying you had mARRIAGE PROBLEMS (or a strained marriage whatever) on FB she is lucky you took it so well. I would have also been hurt and REALLY angry! I also like what Mael did, good for him! And it was actually funny the pic and your caption. I did the same with W re thinking I was clever - I made his formula before i went to bed (cold from fridge) and thought when he used to wake up during the night (he he fourth night of sleepign through!) that i'd have it at room temperature. Cool, but then I got lazy and if he had only finished half and was up 2-3 hours later well I gave him the rest - and voila! he got the tummy bug! so since then I prepare it as he needs it! i dno't even store it in the fridge!
Betty sorry about Sarah man! I hope it passes!! William who NEVER cries has started daily (late afternoon) crying jags - for about 5-10 mins has been happening for past 4 afternoons - he SCREAMS and cries and then calms down but it's the longest he has EVER cried and actually the first time he's ever like CRIED CRIED LIke that you know the tears spurting and SCREAMING!!! we were completely flummoxed! Lucy, it does kinda coincide with his rota vaccine but I think it might be teething??Poor angel it feels so awful I just hold him tight tight and it passes the longest was about 10 mins boy it was a LONG 10 mins!!!!! poor angel. I'm feeding him every 3 hours now (bottle about 120-150 ml) he's gaining nicely and as i said from about a week of doing the 3 hour feeds ( we were doing every 4 hours) he's slept through it's what my book said would happen - after 3 months rather give more frequent day feeds and tehy'll sleep through YIPPEE. he remains such a sweet gorgeous little thing.

Morning ladies

Had a terrible evening.

Sarah screamed and was inconsolable from about 8 till 11 pm.
And of course prior to that she was latched to the breast. I feel exhausted. So hope this is not the onset of colic. I gave her 2 ml of gripe water which helped for about 20minutes.

Well let's hope today is better.

Kimika- I am petrified if spiders like that. I would have had a heart attack.

Lucy- sounds like a wonderful lunch with such a good baby! When di you go back to work?

Meags- the FB photo was so classic I really would have deleted those people who took it out of context. It's your profile and who do the think they are lecturing you in public. I too would have been upset by their remarks. Glad DH is standing by your side.

Took Sarah for a weigh yesterday. She gained 240 grams in a week so is now 4.2 something and was a month old yesterday.

Back. The salary is less than what i was getting by the time i left there 3 years ago but i won't be working shifts and its not at the airport. I have done a full circle. If at some stage i want to go back to the airport ill be able to and increase my salary. Im on a temp basis for a month only and then from there depending on how busy they are ill stay. The only bummer is that ill be spending nearly 1 third of my salary on travel expenses. But some money is better than none.
My mom is going to get sulaiman into a creche three times a week. We are on various waiting lists but my mom and i have decided it would be better for sulaiman to be with the rainbow nation rather than with only coloured children cos we don't want him talking like a cape coloured..no offence meant to cape coloured ppl. It will be funny to see him talking like one and ppl will laugh at him. My husband and i have agreed that he will go to claremont private school.. Or at least thats what i think its called. They are multiracial as well but have a prayer room for muslim prayers etc. Anyway thats still a way to go.
I asked my husband for money so that abdul hakeem can have the rotarix, hope he doesn't take too long or i won't get it done. Its such a luss going government route and i was gonna go this week, but now im working so my mom will take him. He also has to go to the paed for his penis which i also probably won't go to. So greatful i have my mom.
Meags with the milk may be matt was going through a growth spurt. Abdul hakeem is also not drinking like he was. When we give him ebm he drinks about 90mls to 120mls every three hours.
Kimika glad that lady got rid of the spider. We had a huge problem with rooikoppe which we believe is very poisonous as well when we were in caledon. And they went with the house to pmb. So glad i don't live in that house any more with the children.

my friend that got me the job doing sales had also spoken to the owner of a branch of tempest car hire and told him to contact me. When he didn't i decided to call him last week. Any way i have a job. He wanted me to start today but i wasn't expecting that. Will continue just now.

Well taxi strike today meant no queue at the clinic. Madam screamed!! Poor sausage, she seems fine now though. Let's hope it lasts. Last night I decided to push my boobs a bit and managed 7 hours! Tessa was STILL sleeping and i had to wake her to feed. What a superstar!
