Could you tell me how much awake time a 3 month old should have?

AFM - I finally got A to drink from a bottle yesterday. I mixed 50ml of formula with 100ml BM and she finished it and then still emptied my one boob!
Anyone have any tips on how to increase my milk supply? I'd like to start pumping again, but have got much left after a feed. Only about 60ml or so.

I also weighed myself then weighed myself and Amelia. And my scale says there is a 6kg difference so yay!
But I'll see how accurate it is when I take her to be weighed on friday. I just take her to our pharmacy and there is a lovely nurse that does it for us.

I'm really thinking abt buying a electric pump. does anyone have that dew300 Spectra pump (they held a competition on moomie a while ago )

Missesmom - you are sounding burnt out. Is it not possible for you to take a small break, just to recoup a bit of energy? Perhaps get dh to get take aways for supper tonight and look after the girls for an hour or so while you lock yourself in the bathroom or your bedroom! Take care hun.

Tazzy I looked up sleep training in baby sense. I couldn't find a specific thing. She instead has what you should be doing at each age gap eg. 2to6 weeks or 6 to 12 weeks etc. Am I looking at the wrong thing. Shout if you want me to look up anything else.

My Mom leaves again on thursday. So my suicide hour assistant won't be here anymore. Sad for her to go but I do understand the need. She is going to come back and look after Tessa for the first 2 months I am back at work so that is awesome.
I seem to have turned a corner with Tessa (or rather with myself ....she new the answers all along! lol) I feel I get her and mothering a bit better and seem able to settle her quicker. My confidence is finally improving. I actually feel like I know what is best! I hate saying all this though cos i'll probably jinx it now and all will go pear shaped again.

My husband wants me to move to durban and wants me to give my wedding ring back. Neither of which i am willing to do. He also told me that some guy broke in and stole a whole lot of stuff... I bet you he sold the stuff and it wasn't stolen. I didn't bother asking what was stolen.
I know its a bit late in the day, but i need to know from those of you who have been divorced i want a lawyer on thursday through legal aid, does the court appoint one or do i have to go to legal aid? How does it work?
About my lower back. I have to get some medication to get rid of the epidural traces that are left behind. It will help my back. I also have to do exercises to strengthen my tummy muscles and then ill be as good as new.
Does anyone know what's happened to firefly? Is she around on moomie at all? I remember her talking about moving overseas.
Meags im so glad you have gone onto soya. I wouldn't stress about the formula he doesn't want to drink. Sulaiman used to drink 75mls at a time and that was it until he was a year old. He refused to drink more than that. He weighs 11kgs at 2 years and a month. When he went onto full cream cows milk he drank a lot more. He still drinks 200mls at night and has 250mls yoghurt at lunch.

I'm glad everyone seems to be doing well. Cant really do personals, cause my brain just isn't working today.

I've been far too busy and I'm longing for a day I dont need to set my alarm to wake up! Even week-ends I've ben having to do that and I'm tired now! In this weather I want to snuggle up with Kate and sleep! Not work, or drive around. But guess I cant have it all.
Hoepfully I'll get some time off soon.

Everyone else - where are some pics? Kimika your little boy? Joli? Betty, yes where is your little one! And everyone else! Would love to see! Meags gosh you have been through it hey! Glad you getting some time to socialise and pumping is coming to an end. When I first pumped, and then fed with the bottle I thought how great! How easy! Well that lasted a matter of weeks! Try not be sad about the bfing that's just the way it was this time around. And you have been an amazing example for your little boy just keeping at it and trying every conceivable option! I hope your trip to SA is going to be blessed with good times and that M is terribly happy the entire time!!!!

Cath- W is so precious. Naartjie here sends me an SMS when they are having a sale, but before Sarah was born I came across the factory shop in Hout Bay, it is over an hours drive, so don't think I will be going there often, but I did get some lovely outfits.
Unfortunately Sarah thinks our bed = her bed lol. Amazing how different the babies are, with Matthew, he was in a crib next to our bed from day one, and then in a cot in his room from 6 weeks. Never in our bed.

Joli- great that your work is keeping you so busy! My sister used to express milk and send it with her baby to the day mother. He also refused to drink from the bottle and waited for her to finish work so he could get boobie.

Meags- so pleased the pumping is slowing down. It is hectic to entertain with a little baby, but sounds like you are doing well.
I saw from fb that you are friends with my cousin's girlfriend, Kristeen. Small world. I have only met her 2ce though as they live in JHB. Do you know Marco? Quite a character! Love him to bits. Little Sarah was born on his birthday!
I must put a pic up, I just have not taken many, so I hope the pics from the photo shoot come out well.

I am not that peeved with DH, it was great of his friends to organize a night out for him, and I think he enjoyed it!

Got my new washing machine yesterday, LG front loader. I have had a top loader all the years...so it will take some getting used to, especially the lengthy wash cycles.
