Hi everyone! Thanks for all your messages, must still get a chance to catch up with everyone!

Sarah and I are home, she is so devineand sleeping next to me in her basket. She is so good and I am having a much better experience than I had with Matthew.

Mistymom the hospital has changed their attitude and policies drastically during the last 3 years, and I had a great stay.

DH went quickly to fetch M from school and is taking him to dr for a check up on his ears. He has not enjoyed the hospital experience and hope he will be happier now that we are home.

My milk has come in and S has been having a feeding frenzy. My one nipple is slightly sore, so will monitor it. I may go for lazier.

Anyhow, it's wake up time. Will chat later xx

My turn on Friday as I still havent been able to change the appointment! AND I noticed I have a paed appointment on Thursday! Why must everything happen when my mom is not around to help out?? I have 3 HUGE orders to do for Friday/Sat so totally swamped.. if you see me around too much pls remind me to get my butt back into the kitchen

Oh wanted to ask, is the sureslim worked out so you are still ok while breastfeeding? Give us some tips.. I now have 11kg to go

Lucy, how were the shots today? And how is T's rash? I find if my boob gets really full, and sore - it takes a fine for the pain to go away after its been emptied

Kimika, the cookies have clean edges With us for bedtime, I bath both the girls at 3 or 4. Kate gets given her baby massage, and then some play or sleep till daddy comes home. We then all eat supper and Em gets her massage and DH reads them both a story. And then I take Kate to bed.
Have a look at www.feelgoodhealth.co.za for meds you can give R, they are fab and I used them on Em when she was little and still do.

Misty, how you doing?? You look so happy in all your pics! With the bathtime now, we dont do the washing outside the water, we wash her in the bath, otherwise she will scream.

Rakker, so glad to hear you are doing ok now. Hope the headaches go away soon!

Meags, I'm telling you, book yourself into a guest house for the night, even if you take Mat, and tell DH that you'll come back when he grows up, and until he does he cannot see his son. And well done on the BFing! 9min is fab! Kate normally only feeds for 10 on each boob.

Cath, hows sureslim doing? Mine starts full on tomorrow, I've been slowly weaning myself this week of stuff, down around 600g already, but will check tomorrow and see.

So took Madam to have her shots today, I couldn't be in the room, so left my mom with her, did hear her cry for a small while though. She has gained 450gm in a week! And is now 58cm - so 8cm taller.
Yesterday we did a nice breakfast with the MIL, my mom and DH, and then I took Em out for some quality time - have not spent alone time with her since Kate was born - and we went shoe shopping and then milkshakes and cake. DH cleaned the entire house, incl cupboards. We are now looking for a bigger place cause I'm feeling cramped.
Went out Sat night and MIL looked after the girls, by the end of the night my boob was SO sore and swollen we had to leave the party early so I could express. Was also so angry cause we got back to fetch Kate at 10:30 and Em was still wide awake!! Running around and playing with FIL - I'm sorry that is not a good bedtime for a 4 year old! Cause then I need to deal with her for the next 2 days being unhappy cause she has not had enough sleep.

Anyways, sorry about the essay....

And Meags as for the latching - 4 mins and 5 mins is AWESOME - you get the top prize for deursettingsvermoe! Well done!!! As for threatening DH I say change the ticket! It's the only way that he will really get a taste of life without you and Matt and I think will make him THINK!

Meags your little boy is just the cutest thing ever oh my word he is sweet sweet sweet! Happy mothers day everyone I had a lovely mothers day we were away for the weekend for my dads 70th birthday at a lovely place in the magaliesburg - hunters rest - william was sooooo well behaved and is sleeping beautifully during the night e.g. usuall just 2.30 am up for a feed. It just shows how he loves the routine for the past week he's been feeding 4 hourly during the day it has really helped him settle by night time! YAY!

Meags that is great if Matt is latching a bit. You could always bf and top up with formula. Even if Matt is just comfort feeding its a great start. I really admire you for your perseverance! I also think you dont have any problems with milk supply, so maybe 5 - 10 mins is enough? Nathan only drinks for like 5 mins sometimes, and maximum 10 mins at any time - even when we started bf'ing. Sending all the positive vibes your way today! xxx
