Callum and I

I made a whole long post and then Megan unplugged my pc!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Gonna try and remember quick but don't have much time now.

Betty - sjoe I can't believe all the mommies going to 40 weeks! How you feeling? With Kayla I never wanted to breastfeed - I just couldn't see myself doing it and I told midwife she must make sure I dont get milk, but then when she was born she latched and I fed for 8 weeks. Didn't really miss it either he he. With Megan I b/f for 5 months, but now with Callum I am really enjoying it. Gonna try kep it up, but yip each mommy and baby is different. I actually enjoy the going to the room part to have some me time he he.

Taz - A looks like a dolly in that Easter pic .

Meags - Kayla would also never let me rock her to sleep. I had to put her down for her to sleep. But I am so enjoying Callum's breathing in my neck - he likes to cuddle and then tries to push his head deep into my neck he he. I know I am most probably gonna complain in a couple of months time but for now I am enjoying it. And he is my little heater for winter he he.

Cath - William is soooooooo gorgeous - love the smily pics.

Well Megan's got flu - hope Callum won't get sick as well. Hmmm well re the weight - I seems to have picked up since Callum's been born. Must really just go to gym. I take the girls swimming twice a week at the gym, so should really just stop being lazy and actually gym in that time as well.

Never took Callum for his jabs - taking him next week.

Well it seems that I can resign!! How AWESOME is that ladies?? But I haven't done it as yet - I am so scared things don't work out.

Misty! Congrats on the birth of your BB (Can't call him little boy ). Almost a kg more than my LG. Hope he brings you only joy.

Cath- the pics of William are too beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Have not seen any since he was a new born.. They change so quickly.
Also love the outfit. I too only dressed M in baby grows and dungarees for many months. I had a look at the M&S website, am rawly tempted to order some goodies, although most of e stuff on line is now summer.

Schatsie- well done on loosing all the weight. I also hope to breast feed.. I did with M, exclusively for 3 months and then just at night till about 5 months. But I gained a lot of weight back after I stopped feeding. Also I ate too much after he was born.

I must admit that I never really enjoyed the BF experience, and was kind of relieved when the paed advised me to give M anti reflux formula. It was almost like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I was no longer banished to another room to feed, I could feed in public without stares from people, I could come and go more easily without worrying that M would go into a sudden screaming fit for boobie. Also if I visited at friends and started feeding, they would immediately ask me if I wanted to go to their bedroom. It was rather aggravating, and it is really sad that BF mothers are so discriminated against.

Meags- I moved M out of our room at 6 weeks, although he never slept in our bed. DH was waking to every movement baby made. I started off letting him do day naps in his cot and slowly moved him to his room. I still rocked him etc. Had a rocking chair in his room. I also spent many house in his room. It is much easier to let baby sleep with you in your room, but I was happy to move him.
Your stories about your Matt remind me so so much of my experience with my M.
I also had to carry him in a certain way and everything had to be the way he wanted it. Etc etc. He still is impatient but the funny thing is that he is still so specific. Eg. Don't mix his food, keep carrots away from peas and also everything must be in place. Wonderful for keeping his room tidy!

AFM - I will be 40 weeks tomorrow. M was born at 40 weeks 2 days, so perhaps a weekend baby? Still no signs though....

shame my poor child when he wants something - he wants it NOW!! and yet when he is calm, he is so pleasant and sweet
